Comments related to the NV Running List Thread
S4GRU replied to MacinJosh's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
NV Upgrades in the NV Running List is referred to the equipment rip and replace at sites. That portion is done in NV1.0. NV2.0 work is just the addition of more equipment to further enhance the experience. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro -

Yes. That's when Network Vision upgrades will be complete if they continue the same production rate. LTE completion cannot be forecasted as it is backhaul vendor dependent, and each site is variable depending on logistics and distances from fiber, etc. Robert -

Has anyone worked for or heard of C.A. Bass LLC?

Never heard of them. Best of luck. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro -
Sprint/SoftBank may not be able to provide a solid wireless home ISP service everywhere. But they certainly could to exurban and rural areas. And these places need broadband the most. Most TWC served areas already have another one or two broadband providers. Exurban and rural areas most have one or zero broadband providers. These are places where last mile connections get expensive with little or no pay off. Wireless is a great solution for these areas. And they are less likely to overwhelm a wireless network. As for cost, they would most certainly offer a more competitive pricing for a new home ISP product than what they're currently offering for aircards and home based backup routers. The NV Running List data is managed by one of our Staff Members. He's been tied up the past few weeks. Hopefully I will have the data soon and can update it. Robert -
The updates come from Google at random. They are not issued by Sprint, or by market. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I have not seen one person with a Nexus 5 in South Dakota yet, other than in my family. People ask me all the time what I'm using. I caused a near riot in the AT&T store. (OK, that's an exaggeration) Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I received an email from Tapatalk that they have changed their extensions. You may experience issues until I can update them. Robert via Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Masayoshi Son says America doesn't know how bad its internet speed is.
S4GRU replied to MrZorbatron's topic in General Topics
Midcontinent just doubled my speeds to 200Mbps down/30 up from 100Mbps down/15 up. Not too shabby for a rural and remote city. But here we have two to four choices for broadband. Almost everyone in Rapid City can get CenturyLink and Midcontinent. Many can also get WOW cable internet. And a quarter can get fiber to the home from Golden West. Competition is a good thing when it comes to internet service. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro -
I waited for the natural OTA to hit. It came to my device yesterday on its own at 3:30PM Mountain time. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

Can you imagine the call volume Sprint must have received after people stopped getting the "ELL-TEE-EEES"? They probably know full 'ware there is a problem now and doing anything and everything they can to fix it. If it's being fixed all of a sudden without another update, makes you think it's a network issue. Maybe CSFB wasn't being able to stay connected to your device and Sprint needed to modify something on it's end to make it work properly. So it's possible the LTE connectivity issue is being fixed by Sprint now. Keep us posted on how .13 is working in your neck of the woods. However, even if this does fix the problem, the weaker radio performance on .13 will not likely go away. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I'm not sure there is an IBEZ solution until the narrowband SMR providers in Canada and Mexico are ready to move to wideband. As long as they stay on narrowband in the same or adjacent frequencies, there will be little to no movement in the IBEZ. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I'm starting to phase back in. It will take me weeks to get fully back up to speed. Thanks for everyone's patience. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

That's good. I use that app already to access screens. I thought I read that that app doesn't work any longer on AT&T after the update. Thanks for the clarification. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I'm afraid to upgrade since I'm on AT&T. I like being able to access Engineering screens on AT&T. Only device I know that does. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
