I hate my phone now...

Hey, they might not have had it broadcasting until later. I didn't pick it up until I posted here about it. If it had been broadcasting earlier, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten it earlier. So it may have had nothing to do with your phone. Just bad timing.

Had to run my boss food from Collinsville to Alton(for a cool $50 lol). Mapped about 400 points in places in Alton that weren't mapped. Took 270 to 55/70 home and grabbed HEX for Maryville, 560EF##.Mapped about 50 points on that one I think...had to put the phone down cuz there were bears....uploading now.

I made a discovery today. Even though my GNex is not active, I can still use it to get 3 digit style serving cells! Also the site at Parker & New Halls Ferry that was 3G accepted a couple weeks ago is now in donut mode. 562A2##.

I guess the device still accesses the network even though the device isn't "activated"....

Its weird, It only says 4G above the bars sometimes. I only noticed it because i was trying to see if we could get it activated on my boss's line(nope) at the sprint store near the Florissant Aldi's site and I was playing with it to see what showed up in DEBUG. Sure enough i got 455. about 10 minutes later it said 4G above the bars. Went down the Lindbergh to New Halls Ferry and sure enough as we were passing the Parker and New Halls site I got 322. Also picked up a couple in Alton.

Yea its cool you can do that with an unactivated sprint device. an ATT or VZW wont do that without a SIM

If any of you St Chuck boys(or girls) are near Mexico and Bryan Rd remember to switch on Sensorly and plot it out.

You need 3 digit sids for this?

Sorry DaQue, didn't see that you were going until after I posted that. That tower has some crazy range to the north though. Check out sensorly when. Some zoom levels have my points already.

Could go 40 to 70 on your way to Mexico and Turtle Creek, just to see how long you have LTE after you get out of the Research park coverage.
