4GHoward
If T-Mobile or Sprint bought Leap Wireless, where do y'all think we will be at now?

Thomas L.
Appreciate this. I remember always being so fascinated by the smaller carriers and how they built out. In California for example there are none left now. Good memories.
greenbastard
I was always fascinated at how Las Vegas was one of the few markets serviced by AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket, MetroPCS, and Nextel. The other forgotten carrier is Alltel
4GHoward
Does anyone recall the amount of LTE spectrum utilization from Legacy MetroPCS and Legacy Cricket (Leap Wireless)?
iansltx
IIRC both topped out at 5x5 MHz, though 1.4x1.4 was more common. 5x5 was e.g. on MetroPCS in Dallas.

I remember Cricket only had CDMA services on the AWS band in Las Vegas (or was it Phoenix?...I remember it was somewhere in the southwest). The old fabled BC15. 4GHoward
Phoenix was Cricket (Leap Wireless) very first LTE Market.
bigsnake49
I wish that Sprint had absorbed them both + Alltel. I believe that they would have done better than absorbing Nextel.
