Contract unlimited plan

Has anyone noticed that they increased the price of their contract unlimited plan to $85 a month now?  I go onto my account and select change plan (I'm currently on a 450 min/unlimited data plan).  And it takes me to a page showing that plan.

This isn't anything new. My Way unlimited has been $85 since at least January 2014.

Oh, ok.  Well I know around August when I looked at the plans I could change to, the $80 one was still there.

Thanks.

You are right they did just up the plans within the last week or so.  I was going to switch to the $80 plan (i didn't) and I spent a long time on the phone with customer service and on the internet because my situation right now is a little complicated.  They have upped the price to $85.

With Volte it will all be data and your plan is unlimited data for 10.00. Why give it up. read the small print of your contract before giving this up.

There is absolutely no indication at this point that Sprint's VoLTE phone calls will be billed by the MB rather than by the minute. On the contrary, the other 3 major operators have chosen to only bill video calls as data usage. Audio-only phone calls, even "HD" ones, use comparatively very little bandwidth, and most postpaid retail customers have grown accustomed to having unlimited calling included in their plans. So I don't foresee Sprint bucking the industry trend on this when they begin to deploy VoLTE next year.

This is seriously news to me about a price hike. I wonder if its in the new playbook. I was off today but ill look into it tomorrow.

If you sign a two year agreement under the simply unlimited plan it is 85 dollars. The unlimited my way plan is 80 dollars.

Oh yea i knew about the 35 if you were on the $50 unlimited plan on contract. Customers would have to be stupid to pay $85 when the normal contract plan is cheaper. This thread made it seem like my way unlimited was gone.

Thats weird because we still have the my way rate plan guides in store and on plano. I looked online and you are right it only gives the $85 option when buying a phone.
