The Dave
I found this interesting. Disney has been trying to keep people connected to all aspects of their trip using your cell phone to check wait times, show times, reservations, making and modifying fast passes, etc. the downside of this, obviously, is battery life. I wonder if something like this may show up in other places. http://www.wdwmagic.com/other/mymagicplus/news/21apr2014-magic-kingdom-to-test-mobile-phone-charging-lockers-for-guest-use.htm
nexuss4g
Disneyland offers charging stations inside lockers. 5 bucks for 1 hour charge if I remember well.
bkco14
As a person who loves going to Disney for vacation, I don't find that worthwhile. What I would hope they do is somehow incorporate charging stations at restaurant tables. That way, my phone can be charging while I eat and it is always an arms-length away instead of hidden inside of a locker.
unoriginal
This is one reason I keep buying Samsung phones. I love being able to bring 2 or 3 extra batteries with me and if the one in my phone dies during the day I simply pop the back cover off, put a charged battery in and Im ready to go again.
conquereddroiduser
While on a layover in Zurich about a year ago used something like this in the airport. You used a touch screen to make up a pin, then left your phone in one of about a dozen lockers. It was free and worked without a hitch. z250kid
kinda skeptical about this. Would they be able to harvest any data off the phone?
