  • 3 weeks later...

I was just down in Felton for the weekend. Lots of 3G/1x around here, even close to Route 13.

Sprint is still pretty awful in lower Delaware unfortunately. B26 either doesn't exist, or it doesn't penetrate buildings. LTE, no matter the signal strength, was very very slow. (Even for Facebook and iMessage)

I submitted 2-3 reports in the Sprint Zone app. Happy to be back in my home market again today :). Hopefully in late 2018 lower Delaware can finally compete with T-Mobile which has ubiquitous LTE there.

most towers past Dover only have single 5x5 band 25 and lot towers lack band 26. Lot gmo sites need fullbuilds.

I couldn’t agree with you more. When I was in Delaware just about six months ago sprints LTE service was deplorable outside of Dover in Wilmington. So sprint really needs to step on the gas pedal and fix the rest of the LTE holes in Delaware.

Naojdgb.png This is a speedtest from the mono pine a 1/2 mile to the south of the Sprint flag pole in Hack's Point. But I'm still going to place a order on Unlimitedville for a Sprint Hot Spot to see if service will work at my house 2.8 miles to the SW of hack's point

Well the speed is great. I won’t deny that. But I go to Delaware once a year in August and I was there less than eight months ago and there was a lot of band 26. But after Dover Air Force Base the coverage got worse.

verizon tower . that looks.  like tree i saw that. The flag pole went 3miles south.

Sprint still lacks LTE in the southern part of Delaware. It’s been improved upon in Rehobeth. But the rural highway Still needs a lot of densification and expansion of their LTE.

This market could be great but who knows why so all over place on sites.
I do agree with you. Is Sprint actually put some more money into the Delaware Market with just the low band service alone would make coverage great. And band 41 wouldn't have much of a problem either.

    • Heads up T-Mobile customers!  If you think you have been spared from the Crowdstrike update error, you might be wrong.  I just figured out that I have been missing some calls since Friday.  I did this first by comparing the T-Mobile Scam Shield logs to my call inbound call activity log and discovered I was missing some calls that don't appear on the inbound call activity log.  Then I tested it with random phones and found many could not connect to my phone (some would not even get voice mail).  Ultimately had T-Mobile re-provision my phone line, plus I reset T-Mobile on my phone.  They said they have been doing lots of reprovisioning since the weekend.  The random phones then connected without issue.
    • Hmm.. yeah I'd love to take a look at them to see what is going on. They should be in the same folder, but this is the next big issue I need to tackle as Android file access has gotten very complicated and inconsistent. If you don't see them there, try to access the /Android/data/com.blueline.signalcheck folder, they will be in there. I am working on improving this.
    • I had the latest update when I tried that upload, though most of the points had been collected in the previous version. After that last time it failed I was waiting to upload until the next update. I meant to post about it the other night but I got distracted. Remind me where those files are that it exported? I looked in my SCP folder but all I see are DB backups and log exports.  Also, I had been seeing this on just my Visible phone, cellmapper showed data correctly at the same time so it seemed to be an SCP issue that started with the update before the one tonight. This seems to be fixed in the newest update, just wanted to say something since I sent a diagnostic report when it was doing it the other night. I've never seen this on my AT&T phone though so not sure why it only affected my visible phone.
    • Can you take a few of those files that were exported and send them to me? Or try re-uploading after updating to the new release that I pushed out tonight, there are some upload tweaks.
    • Mike, I meant to post the other day but I've been getting this when I try to upload on either of my phones since the previous update.
