Ohh, this is bad.

I just had a Sprint 4G-related dream.

I dreamed that I woke up to the 4G icon on my phone. I checked Sensorly, and West Michigan was covered in purple!

I then looked at my phone again, and it was flickering between 4G and 1X. I then realized that was because I had an EVO LTE, and couldn't wait until my Note 2 arrives...

Does this mean I need to take a break from here for a while?

Heck, no. I had a dream about Romney last night, but I'm not going to take a break from America! :P

You are a wireless dork. You cannot escape it. Even in unconsciousness! :hee:

I think it meeans you should lay off the curried bacon right before bed. http://voices.yahoo.com/evil-pork-other-foods-which-cause-nightmares-2933187.html

There were plenty of other things that happened in this dream too. My mind actually gave me new music recommendations! Now to figure out if those are real or made-up bands...

I have chicken for dinner almost every night. ;)

But I don't partake in hallucinogenic chicken anymore. I leave that to you whippersnappers.

I had chicken last night and I also dreamed about my phone, but it was some sci-fi space themed dream where my phone was some kind of controller for almost everything in the ship...

Yep, I am also a dork.

Hello. My name is Lee, and I am a 4Gaholic. My addiction has been pretty bad lately. I have to drive usually about an hour from home just to get my fix. I've built up a tolerance so the high usually doesn't last long. All Emporia has is the 3G stuff and it doesn't give me the rush that 4G does. Once I'm back in Emporia, I start to fiend for 4G and the cravings are immense. I need to get help.

Mmm, is that yet another Minnesota "delicacy"?

Minnesotans think ketchup is spicy...

Bacon on a stick though, that is a Minnesota delicacy, right next to hotdish and turkey legs.

Deep fried twinkie?

Are you trying to lay claim to the accomplishments of your great neighbor state of Wisconsin?

Well, what does Minnesota have? Using water softener salt to attract deer? Nah, I think Texas invented that...

Bob Dylan. AND SPAM!

Funny that out of Spam or Dylan, you pick Dylan to deep fry... Is Spam that bad?

I was just thinking that Dylan's brain is probably already fried...

Yes, have you heard his singing? Whatever part of the brain controls pronunciation has been fried for a long time.

Very true. But in indecipherable pronunciation, even Dylan cannot top Van Morrison...or Jimmy Fallon doing Van Morrison.

I do admire the quantity of beer, though...

Made me thirsty. I really get a kick out of Jimmy Fallon's musical satire.

Romney? Did you think he would win?

    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
    • What is the cheapest way to try Dish's wireless network?  Over the past year I've seen them add their equipment to just about every cell site here, I'm assuming just go through Boost's website?  What phones are Dish native?
