Network Vision/LTE - New Orleans Market

I sat at Landry's on Conti and had to force LTE only in order to connect. Drove around with Sensorly (Posted the LTE Engineering shots in Sponsor Forums) but could never getdata to actually work. The signal Dropped out past Canal on Tchoup going towards CBD and at Decatur going into the Quarter. I would say it is an Algiers/Westbank Tower. Nothing further up Tchoup into Garden District.

Interesting. You would think someone in Algiers would have picked it up by now over there. Maybe not though.

I am waiting to see a purple line cross the river. I can see someone jumping on the ferry and mapping the signal.

Did you read above? Someone posted they were waiting to get on the ferry.

Seeing how the site is a few miles north of where the trail ends, it could be the Maurepas site. And it fades to the south as it gets farther away from the site. I believe it is a Maurepas snail trail. Woooo weee!

Sensorly has updated now.. I see it now. Definitely that site. Now that's LTE out in the middle of no where. ;)

Haha love it! Catching the ferry to map the coverage and find the tower. Kudos. Awesome.

I'm waiting for the Spring where several LTE trails and dots start popping up in Lake Maurepas. I'm sure we are going to have MANY LTE lines that are not on roads.
