  14. I said it earlier this week and I still think another carrier is complaining about some insignificant "bug" to Google and intentionally holding up this update. Specifically to keep the Spark enhancements away from Sprint users. They have succeeded.
  15. Dear xxxx, Thank you for your response via Dan@Sprint.com. We appreciate you e-mail regarding the software update to enable the Sprint Spark feature on your Google Nexus 5. I sincerely apologize for any frustration this has caused you. Google Network was to release a software update for the Google Nexus 5 as of April 14, 2014 however; a communication was received yesterday that Google has postponed this update. Sprint is in communication with Google and all feedback received is being considered and reviewed in support of the Google Nexus software update. Please visit our website www.sprint.com/support to check for any new software releases that are available for your device. If you need any additional assistance, please feel free to reply directly to this e-mail and include a contact number or your account information. Your business is greatly appreciated and thank you for contacting Dan@Sprint.com. Sincerely, Dan@Sprint.com Team Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. OK, thanks for the clarification. I was wrong. I didn't recall them saying an update was needed. Thanks.
  17. When the device was released it was advertised as a Spark device. Nothing said in the future the device would be Spark capable right? As I recall it was determined after initial sales that a update would be required to enable Spark. Again this is what I recall what do others remember? Did Sprint say a update would be necessary to enable Spark before it went on sale or was that post release/sale? Can we clarify this because I really want to know now. I could be wrong and that is fine but what actually happened?
  18. Well this stinks. I spent a lot of money on a tri-band device. If I would have known it was going to be like this I would have held on to my old device and saved my money. Pretty disappointed in this. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  19. Ah ha. Eureka! So one of the other carriers notices that Sprint is about to rollout their real network using this update and finds a "problem" which holds the update up at the last second. I am now thinking we may never see 4.4.3. Dirty pool I say.
  20. Haven't seen one anywhere yet. I am thinking it isn't exclusive to Sprint. That would be a first. We will probably see it roll out to everybody soon. Today? Maybe.
  21. RT @StadiumHeaven: Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge, Louisiana http://t.co/f4cuoNYOgp

  22. That would be odd. But whatever, we just need someone to capture the OTA. "but Sprint is currently seeding it to its customers with Nexus 5 phones."
