FYI - I live in Summerfield and if I stand out on the Lanai outside in the back I get 4G, albeit weak. I can get just over 2Mbps on the download and about the same on the upload.

Alert! LTE on 75 just north of Fletcher. We have multiple towers lighting up in my backyard gentlemen!

First time poster. Just did my first Sensorly mapping. I live in Wesley Chapel, and drive through Land 'O Lakes daily. I mapped 4G on I75 North of Fletcher all the way up to SR56. I also mapped behind the Dodge Dealer on SR54 W of SR56. I also mapped 4G down County Line Road, then West on Collier Parkway. The 4G dropped of at SR41 @ Collier Pkwy. I then drove N on SR41 and got 4G starting just S of SR 54. I drove back East on SR54 and the 4G was strong. I turned N at the SR54 & SR56 fork. The 4G dropped soon afterwards... I was in Orlando and Cocoa today too, & got 4G there as well. I may post more later...

To quote the Sensorly site: "Maps update at least once a day at all zoom levels."

 

Technically, we both could be correct... However, All of the activity I quoted was from a less than a roughly 1 hour time frame. I mapped, uploaded, comments were made about 4G on I75, and I responded. All on the same afternoon. I mapped the next night, uploaded, and saw the updates right away as well. Same for other mapping trips. So, I am not sure if an update has done something, or the Sensorly servers are slow...

Just north of tarpon ave on us19 heading north on the west side of the road I seen a guy up on the tower. A lot of traffic so I didn't get to see who it was. If I have time I'm gonna try and swing back by .

I'm going to hit a few other in progress sites. There is one that I am curious about off of 22nd N . Its hard for me to believe that the tower in South St. Pete is reaching all the way there..

So seeing all the action about some LTE sightings i decided to do some looking also. I stopped to get a drink at the circle K on 66th just south of 102 and had 1 bar of LTE. the dropped off before i could do a test. I drove 19 up to drew street and nothing, i decided to head over to Belcher and at Belcher and Drew success LTE! it was spotty down Belcher but had it at Belcher and nursery, then again Belcher and east bay. For the people that can run sensorly that will give you some locations to go check out. Here are a few screen grabs of my iPhone 5, i was not all that impressed with the speed tests i did.

those that have done some mapping, what type of coverage are we getting in the new areas since sensorly is being slow?

From what I can see it will be as good as Wesley chapel hopefully better lol but it covers a few miles
