  1. I saw that one day right around a tower that then went live a few hours later. I bet Sprint is working on the network... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  2. The house definitely drops the signal and speed down. But it is much better that 3G. I used to get between 300kbps and 1.5Mbps on 3G at the same location. The test will be at my mom's house. She lives roughly 3-5 miles NE of that tower. She has horrendously bad signal indoors, and barely there signal outside. Same for my sister a few blocks away. I'll give test the signal at their houses soon and report back. No chance 800mhz has been enabled on that tower? Any way to check? Carlos Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Some results I got standing outside my home, looking at the tower ~ 3/4 of a mile away... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  4. All these tests were run from within my home around 1 mile SSW from the tower at SR54 & Morris Bridge Road... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I've been AWOL for a few weeks, but just noticed strong LTE signal on SR54 near Eiland Blvd/Morris Bridge Red. I suspect the tower by my home went 'live' today... Woo-Hoo! . I saw the NV panels going up around new years, so it took ~ 3 months from then. Also, at least one of the downtown Zephyrhills towers seemed to go live a few weeks ago. There's LTE all around me! 6. Yes sir! I am connected to it right now, inside the Wells Fargo. Getting 2MB down >1MB up. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I was just in down town Zephyhills and, noticed I had connected to a faint 4G signal. I fired up Sensorly and mapped a little, until the signal dropped. I couldn't spend time to locate the source tower. It wasn't any of the three closest to Zephyrhills(they are not live yet), or the two that recently went live near I75(they are way too far away). There may be another tower live somewhere around farther East... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I map daily myself. I'm doing some mapping up around the new LTE tower at SR52 & I75. Getting ~15mbps down around 5 miles NW from the tower, off of Bellamy Brothers Rd... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  9. I think there's too many of us mapping. We're overloading their servers... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  10. I think it's being slow again. Sent from my Galaxy S III
  11. Looks like several towers going live on Friday again... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  12. Same here... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  13. There is an app cache. I've gone to the app in settings and cleared my Data. You have to be careful to not do this if you still have Sensorly data uploading. Sent from my Galaxy S III
  14. Hello all. I mapped in SR52 @ I75 this morning. I was getting unusually fast download speeds and was able to go way East from there. Now that I look at my uploaded Sensorly Data, there appears to be a new 4G LTE tower just East of the SR52/I75 intersection... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  15. I took pictures of that tower several weeks ago, soon after New Years. At the time, it had the 4G panels & RRUs. There was also someone onsite working on or inspecting the tower. Sent from my Galaxy S III
  16. I think I might have. That, along with a bunch if random streets in the area. I also have been mapping randomly around the tower at Dale Mabry & Van Dyke and the tower in Wesley Chapel when I have time. The maps on Sensorly should start to reflect all of this soon... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  17. SpenceSouth works for the company that created that app. I've requested they add a feature that would only start a search (by cycling Airplane mode) when LTE is lost. The current Auto Search feature isn't as useful to me, as I want to stay on LTE as long as possible while mapping. And, in fringe areas, it is inevitable that you will loose and have to reaquire an LTE connection while mapping. Going behind obstructions, over hills, etc all affect this to some extent. As a result, this will cause the morse code like mapping at the edges... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  18. Nope... I was mapping earlier in Spring Hill, on my way to Brooksville. I mapped down the Suncoast on the way back. Then made a loop around Citrus Park, as there were spots not on the map there. I made a quick post while driving. Sorry for any confusion... Also, I'll choose a route to get somewhere that isn't mapped if at all possible. I work all over the state at times & I map whenever I can... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  19. Mapping on Sucoast Pkwy and in Citrus park. .. Sent from my Galaxy S III
  20. I'm working up in Brooksville today. So, I'm mapping some unmapped areas around the Spring Hill tower as well as the tower at SR54 & I75... More to come... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  21. SpenceSouth. I updated the app just now, and can confirm that the GPS screen/Airplane mode bug seems to be fixed... Yay! Thanks for all your work on this... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  22. I tried to dl the update, but it isn't available yet. I will check the play store later & report back how it works... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  23. I just did some more Sensorly mapping to the West of the new tower at I75 & SR54. There is quite a large area still not mapped on Sensorly. I'll do more mapping later if no one else does before me... Sent from my Galaxy S III
  24. I did a small amount of mapping of the newly 'turned on' LTE tower on Dale Mabry, just South of Van Dyke Rd. I took a scenic route through North Dale to lunch. The mapping is starting to show up on Sensorly. I was surprised at what a short distance the LTE seems to travel, compared to the other towers I've mapped. I suspect that this may be due to how many more towers there are in the Carrollwood area, as apposed to the areas that I've mapped in Pasco County. That tower is very close to my office on Van Dyke near the Veteran's, yet I cannot pick up LTE in the parking lot of the building. I'll do some more mapping when I have the spare time...
  25. Excellent. Even in it's current state, I used it at lunch to map out some LTE in Carollwood, around that newly 'turned on' LTE tower... Thanks again for your app and all of your work. I'm looking forward to the new and improved app...
