There's was supposed to be some text with that. Whoops! It was just posted recently, but it certainly does help, especially in Ericsson areas (most of the south).

Yeah that is extremely helpful. I gotta say, Digiblur is the man.

Any way to get info on the NV upgrade status of the tower near my house? TA54XC002. I took some pictures of it today. I don't think I see NV panels or RRUs, but I'm no expert...

I just passed this tower, and I believe there are new NV panels with RRUs on it. I couldn't stop due to being late for something. I will make a trip to take a closer look at the tower as soon as I have some free time, and daylight...

Thanks to Digiblurs guide, I can CONFIRM that NV panels are up and installed on the tower by USF at 50th and Fowler!

Edit: Was raining so I'll try to get back tomorrow for pics.

Excellent. Get some pics! Cell tower porn... Yum!

Maybe its been there but I'm not sure. Signal seems to be getting stronger as you move east down Lumsden. Sponsors will know where the towers in that area are. I think someone in this thread something about the mall awhile back but not sure.

Someone sent me a PM about it last night. They think it is Site #OR54XC003, just south of Oxford.

It's about an hour and 15 minute drive from me. Would be a nice motorcycle ride but don't think tomorrow's weather would be good for me. Someone else is going to have to map that one :)

I'm visiting the St. Petersburg area this week and I picked up LTE pretty strong on the 22nd Avenue North exit going even a mile or so west of 34th Street (US 19). This was taken off my iPhone 5 (iOS 6.0.2 Carrier settings 13.1). I got no LTE in Tampa where I expected to get coverage but ironically in St. Pete I'm carrying about 3 bars consistently where I'm staying. In L.A. LTE is coverage is rapidly being deployed so seems like Sprint is getting their ducks in a row.

They still must be doing some tweaking in that area. West of that intersection earlier this week was giving a very weak signal almost unusable. From that cross street heading south picking up that signal was difficult until you actually got on the street it was actually on. At the time I thought it was odd because it seemed that the tower was serving just that neighborhood, especially because there is another Sprint site that is east of 34th street and Sprint is pretty far up that tower. Good to see they are still tweaking things as they go. Thanks for checking in with us.

There has to be another tower in Brandon in testing or something I drove around causeway by Walmart and Falkenburg and had about 1-2 bars of LTE and than by kings and causeway and had the same 1-2 bars. I mapped by kings and causeway at the 7-11 there today and ran some speed test and was getting 1-3 down and 700-1 up

So much activity in St. Pete!

In some ways yes but honestly there are only 3 or 4 active towers.. Sensorly makes it look like a bunch is happening.. Going to check my in progress sites now.. Wish me luck

With that kind of weak performance, the site is far away. It could be the existing known site. But if it is a different one, it is likely several miles away.

Currently working near Busch Gardens and I will be transferred to the downtown Tampa area in about a month so I'll be searching. Question ( and I realize it's a stupid one )....how exactly do I activate the LTE on my HTC Evo LTE? On my old Evo you had to turn on the 4G, but this phone has no such option. Is it automatically on?

It's already active. No on switch needed.

If they light up one more over here by kings it would be good coverage. Seeking what that one is doing

The recent update has a tower off Lithia Pinecrest, south of Bloomingdale, listed as in progress.

    • Since this is kind of the general chat thread, I have to share this humorous story (at least it is to me): Since around February/March of this year, my S22U has been an absolute pain to charge. USB-C cables would immediately fall out and it progressively got worse and worse until it often took me a number of minutes to get the angle of the cable juuuussst right to get charging to occur at all (not exaggerating). The connection was so weak that even walking heavily could cause the cable to disconnect. I tried cleaning out the port with a stable, a paperclip, etc. Some dust/lint/dirt came out but the connection didn't improve one bit. Needless to say, this was a MONSTER headache and had me hating this phone. I just didn't have the finances right now for a replacement.  Which brings us to the night before last. I am angry as hell because I had spent five minutes trying to get this phone to charge and failed. I am looking in the port and I notice it doesn't look right. The walls look rough and, using a staple, the back and walls feel REALLY rough and very hard. I get some lint/dust out with the staple and it improves charging in the sense I can get it to charge but it doesn't remove any of the hard stuff. It's late and it's charging, so that's enough for now. I decide it's time to see if that hard stuff is part of the connector or not. More aggressive methods are needed! I work in a biochem lab and we have a lot of different sizes of disposable needles available. So, yesterday morning, while in the lab I grab a few different sizes of needles between 26AWG and 31 AWG. When I got home, I got to work and start probing the connector with the 26 AWG and 31 AWG needle. The stuff feels extremely hard, almost like it was part of the connector, but a bit does break off. Under examination of the bit, it's almost sandy with dust/lint embedded in it. It's not part of the connector but instead some sort of rock-hard crap! That's when I remember that I had done some rock hounding at the end of last year and in January. This involved lots of digging in very sandy/dusty soils; soils which bare more than a passing resemblance to the crap in the connector. We have our answer, this debris is basically compacted/cemented rock dust. Over time, moisture in the area combined with the compression from inserting the USB-C connector had turned it into cement. I start going nuts chiseling away at it with the 26 AWG needle. After about 5-10 minutes of constant chiseling and scraping with the 26AWG and 31AWG needles, I see the first signs of metal at the back of the connector. So it is metal around the outsides! Another 5 minutes of work and I have scraped away pretty much all of the crap in the connector. A few finishing passes with the 31AWG needle, a blast of compressed air, and it is time to see if this helped any. I plug my regular USB-C cable and holy crap it clicks into place; it hasn't done that since February! I pick up the phone and the cable has actually latched! The connector works pretty much like it did over a year ago, it's almost like having a brand new phone!
    • That's odd, they are usually almost lock step with TMO. I forgot to mention this also includes the September Security Update.
    • 417.55 MB September security update just downloaded here for S24+ unlocked   Edit:  after Sept security update install, checked and found a 13MB GP System update as well.  Still showing August 1st there however.
    • T-Mobile is selling the rest of the 3.45GHz spectrum to Columbia Capital.
    • Still nothing for my AT&T and Visible phones.
