IamMrFamous07
How did sprint stock go up to $4.05 a share today when they reported a loss of 1.4 billion? Am I missing anything? I hope it continues to go up!
jhrace2
Long story short, the financial statements released today exceeded the analysts' expectations.
IamMrFamous07
Long story short, the financial statements released today exceeded the analysts' expectations. Ok that's what I thought. Should of bought some stock when it was $2.10 a share a few months ago
themuffinman
I went ahead and move this topic over the "general topics" being that it really wasn't network vision related.

Denny
The $1.4b loss included approx $680M in accelerated depreciation attributed to shutting down the Nextel portion of the operation. This charge reflects favorably on results from continuing operations. Sprint also revised its full year operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) guidance upward by $600 million to $900 million.
