For weeks, rumors have been circulating that Verizon's carrier exclusivity deal to sell Google Pixel devices was ending and other carriers, such as Sprint, will offer them in addition to direct sales from Google. S4GRU has been able to attain information that this is indeed correct and that Sprint will soon be selling Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL devices. In addition, Sprint has also recently enabled Pixel 3's eSIM support which is likely to be also true with the Pixel 3a devices when it launches. This means there is no need to seek out the correct SIM card for the device to activate it, though a physical sim card is still an alternate option and the S4GRU SIM Card spreadsheet has been updated to include the 3a and 3a XL devices.

Pixel ESIM activation guide

1. Connect device to WiFi
2. Go to Settings, Network & internet, Mobile network, Advanced, Carrier. Alternatively search "carrier" in settings
3. Tap "Add Carrier"
4. Login to Sprint Account and select device to receive one time activation code to continue. Select line to activate Pixel on.

5. Pixel should now be activated.

** If ESIM capable Pixel  is already activated on line with a SIM card, you may have to activate another Sprint device in its place before you can undergo the ESIM activation steps **

I don't understand why Both B25 carriers are not aggregated with B26 and or 41? Makes no since. Only Sprint does this. Other 3 do 2 B2 carriers with other bands all the time

No carrier aggregation for band 13 in the case of Puerto Rico. What about ca with Tmobile bands..if the merger.....

Devices including the pixel support B66+13 and B2+13 since vzw uses 13 in the US so T-Mobile will likely do that. Sprint could broadcast non G block spectrum as B2 then do 2+13. Why no 25+13 or 13+41 idk.

Easily answered. There is no 3GPP standard for for such combinations.

I just ordered an unlocked 3a XL from Google (trading in an old iPhone and wanted $100 Google Store credit) and when I try activate it with eSIM, when I have to log into my Sprint account, do I do that on the Pixel itself or on a computer? I really don't want to mess this up. I have an older plan, the EPRP and am always cautious when I get a new phone. Thanks for any help.

Forgot to mention, I'm swapping phones, going from an unlocked Moto X4 which has a SIM card to the Pixel 3a XL.

Just follow the prompts on your Pixel 3a when you select the eSIM option in Sim Manager.

I don't know yet.

The eSIM set up was very easy and I was relieved it worked. Never had to use my PC to do anything. Thanks again for the help.

Yes, it does. Under mobile network settings, you can enable it.

Yup. I enabled it under settings.

Hopefully VoLTE follows soon, but with the merger pending, I just hope things keep momentum for service features and investment.

Have you seen any good speeds on b13 last time I tested it it was super slow only b25 and b41 got some speed and I wasn't in a urban area so it shouldn't be as congested but each time I connected to b13 the speedtest wouldn't run
