  1. Well kings island they can't do anything about that when say 10k to 100k people try to connect to 1 tower even lte probably won't fix it completely during busy days
  2. has the legacy to samsung handoff problem been fixed that was happening in chicago??
  3. oh well thats butt hopfully they have a full fix for this issue when they start rolling out their NV upgrades in cincinnati
  4. sounds like another step that i wouldn't want to take especially with 45B in debt. in a perfect world i would like to see sprint get that spectrum, but with the 600 spectrum coming up for bid here soon, it looks like dish's offer would need ALOT of legal talk written into it to protect sprint from various things. all in all it is a bad deal. softbank is my choice and lets move on and try to get the national 600 spectrum that would really make sprints network pop off the map, just in time for the LTE advanced to come out.
  5. this link is alittle outdated but is interesting if the FCC hasn't made its filling yet could be the reason dish wants to buy sprint so it don't have to worry about this anymore thus making their spectrum more valuable http://www.fiercewir...ings/2012-11-19 on a side note correct me if i'm wrong but would sprint be able to use the spectrum in conjunction with what they currently have say on either the uplink or downlink say for 10x10 opperation or possibly 20x20 operation in the 1900-2020 spectrum that they would have if the deal with sprint goes threw again i'm a novice when it comes to spectrum talk. just to be clear i'm talking about possibly merging together the spectrum dish has aws-4 with the current spectrum sprint has on pcs g block and making them work together istead of fighting eachother if its not possible then the spectrum dish has would be unusable and softbank would be my first and only choice but if it is usable then dish dose have a fighting change in my book
  6. i've been reading about this for a few hours now on various websites they all say dish has spectrum but none say what spectrum dish has dose anyone know where it is on the frequency bands and how much they have would it be good for sprint to be bought by dish or would the softbank deal be better for other reasons
  7. i was speaking with a sprint customer service rep and they said they have lost usage rights in certain area's but are working hard to get new ones in place so you won't see any network issues it sounded like a auto response but it gave me a bit of hope
  8. the tower locations in my area are spot on if it only shows 1x sites i guess that means that all tower locations in my area have 1x sites
  9. when i use netmonitor i pick up a signal from 5 towers 3 to the north and 2 to the south all are within 8 miles of me and there is another nextel tower that i'm hoping is going to be upgraded by the nv team so i can have a tower in my back yard so to speak its only 800 meters away from my house
  10. same for boone county you have to know the permit number contractor name or site address to get any info on the permits its a pain in the butt but at least i know i have to work my butt off fun times thanks again
  11. i'm in kentucky i was wanting to keep up with the sprint network vision upgrades for this area how would i look up the contractor or address of the towers so i can post on here permitting for sprint nv upgrades as they come in??
  12. glasglow ky woohoo maybe next will be somerset ky home of all of 4,000 people in the winter and 100,000 people in the summer now lets get the rest of ky lit up lmao btw i'm about 7 hours away from glasglow in the same state (no easy way to get there) but i'm glad ky is on their map
  13. i've been reading up on some of the new chip sets that phones may be getting and it all deppends on the release date its looking like snapdragon 600 (won't get lte adv support) but if in march they say that the s4 is getting the snapdragon 800 then then from what i was reading on the snapdragon website the chip will support all bands and it would be a "furture proof" chip set that only needs a software update to support a new band though that would also mean that we wouldn't see the gs4 till july when snapdragon plans on releasing 800 don't look for the new tegra series chip sets in the gs4 due to them not releasing them till 4th quarter this year http://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/processors/800-600-400-200/specs http://www.nvidia.com/object/tegra-4-processor.html
  14. dose it fall in the cincinnati district like i'm thinking or dose it fall in the eastern ky district or western ky district or are we on the boarder of all 3 i'm hoping its eastern ky since it looks like that is supposed to be set up first but they all 3 are 3rd rounders
  15. the one thing i like out of this handout is ALL current wimax locations will get LTE service by the end of 2013 hopfully sooner then that WOOHOO lol
  16. i saw a leaked sprint coverage map that was leaked back a few months ago if not older. what i got from the map was the cincinnati market will have full lte service. again if i read the map right 90% of ohio would get lte southeast ohio sorry about your luck, and ky would get full LTE service along all major interstates and everywhere in the cincinnati lexington louisville triangle. Only bad part about it is it didn't give a time line or what markets would get it first. it just said at the completion of the Network vision project
  17. even if it's 1mbps speeds that is a useable speed the speeds I was getting before were .05mbps to .15mbps that is unusable speeds and make a smart phone an over sized paper weight i'm glad they have the increased speed now
  18. I've noticed a lot faster speeds in the recent days in the northern ky locations if this is what 3G with sprint is going to be like after network vision upgrades i'll be happy
