not bad not bad i just did a speed test and i got .1mbps down and .1mbps up at 12:30am lol i'm really wanting them to upgrade my tower so i can get a useable speed hell i would be happy with .5 or .6mbps at least that is usable lol

then your probably looking at the galaxy mega or note 3 (holding out hope that its triband) most other phones wouldn't be in your spec's unless you want to wait till next oct to upgrade to the note 4

my contract is up in may of 2014 i figure i'm going to have a nice selection of tri band phones by then hoping the galaxy s5 wow's me but any phone that has a removable battery and triband with all the latest bell and whistles will be just fine

lol its true though the only thing i can say because it has been release by S4GRU is cincinati market has phase 1 LTE band 41 scheduled and phase 2 also. to get more info you need to become a premier sponsor

everyone in the cincy market that has been wondering whats going on why has the progress slowed down so much needs to upgrade to the premier sponsor to see the exciting new news that we got about our area

anything that deals with the 600 band would probably not be fully realized for 4 to 6 years from now something like they buy the 600 band in 2014/2015 start adding that band to their network 2016 probably add phones with that support mid 2016 keep the 800 band support till about 2019 but no new phones with that support from the point they bring out the 600 band tri band phones and they sell the 800 band in 2020 we are talking 6 to 7 years before they sell it

i feel that when they buy 600 or bid on it if they get the 600 spectrum then you will see them sell off their 800 spectrum and opt for it since they will have more nationwide coverage with the 600 spectrum then with their very limited 800 band also the 600 band will give them upgradeability where as the 800 band is basically maxed out with no future capacity available a sprint with 600 1900 and 2500 looks better then a sprint with 800 1900 and 2500 but that is 2 years away lets hope they get the pcs H block and then have their NV2.0 build out almost complete when they try for the 600 band and already stealing cust from verizon and att at that point

i know i'm resurrecting a old thread but i think it still plays a part now that sprint softbank and clear have fully merged and sprint has a new influx of capital and its a fair bet that more iden only sites may be upgraded to NV it would be nice to know some new numbers of how many iden only towers will be kept now that sprint has the money to do so

here is to hoping all non redundant nextel towers get the purdy new NV upgrades

if you can hold off i would most def wait for triband phones since cincinnati is part of phase 1 of the TD-LTE build out so you can take advantage of that super fast speed and in building coverage can't wait till we start seeing solid progress (more info is in the premier sponser forum) i'll be upgrading this friday

one question that i've been trying to search to get answered is the old iden network now that the softbank and clear mergers are complete is sprint going to repurpose a iden only tower to NV if so do we know how many and where they are

i would love to see some love over in northern ky the tower i'm on basically dead for data once they get the 800 band working i'll be connecting to 3 towers right now i just connect to 1 and i'm on the edge of that one but any work in the cincinnati market would be nice

i think the iphone didn't get the 2600 band 41 due to sprint saying it was going to be a "hotspot" band back when they started making the iphone it wasn't till last month that they said they were going to put it on most if not all towers

its an exciting time at sprint for those that have LTE its awesome and those that have yet to get it should get it soon. we just wish they would speed up the process but it is what it is. nv2.0 i feel is a ever evolving project. if they get the 600 spectrum expect that to be part of it lte advanced would probably move to the 600 spectrum. if they get it nation wide, volte would be nice at that level. then have enough to have a 10x10 or 15x15 or even 20x20 at that level and sprint would be the power house to surpass both verizon and att. i think 600 is a big part of what softbank is wanting to do to become the top wireless provider in the USA

i noticed you had florence ky as a city that is a not announced LTE available i wish that were the case but it is not fort wright is the city that has LTE not florence

yeah lets hope they don't go too high on their price it just seemed like the note 2 didn't have any extra sales where as the s3 and s4 do like the buy one get one free when the s4 came out note 2 didn't have that same promo

note 2 and s3 when they came out.the note was about 299 with contract if i remember right where as the s3 was around 150 then went to 99 on sale and the note 2 is still 250 for the upgrade 150 if you port a number over if you look at the s4 right now you can get it for 200 dollars and i fully expect the note 3 to have a price tag of around 350 with number port and contract 450 upgrade

we already have a 5 inch screen with 1080p res and 13mp camera its called the s4 the s800 is able to go upto 32mega pixels on the camera and 4k res on the screen to me .75 inches is not worth the extra 200 dollar price tag they are sure to put on the note 3 as compared to the s4 don't get me wrong its a great phone but the specs on it are 6 months old if you want a flagship phone you need to be thinking ahead of the curve we all know the s800 processor won't be around next year they will have something that is bigger and better so why not push the limits of what that processor can do now so when you have the bigger and better ones next year you can push the limits even more 13mp is great improvment over last sept but 13mp phones have been out for the last 6 or 7 months now if they are going to give it the specs of may's phones then they need to release it with the rest of their phones not at the end of the year with basically the same specs

is it me or is it the S4 with Spen ?? i was expecting it to blow my socks off with the camera and screen res but its basically an S4 with Spen -sigh- did anyone catch if it has triband lte support?

here's too the galaxy s5 having SVLTE support and maybe VOLTE support -crosses fingers- my contract and subsiquent upgrade is ready around may 2014 just in time for the S5 to be coming out

how strong was the signal cause that is really close to the edge of the tower we already know about if you were getting a strong signal then you found a new tower that has come online

lol i remember that phone that was my first smart phone i had it for about 2 months then sold it so i could get the OG evo lol

no new towers being worked on in cincinnati region for the last 3 1/2 weeks what gives?? i was at least hoping for the river to be covered by the WEBN fireworks but that looks to be a dream now -sigh- oh well lets hope that we can get some good service by dec -crosses fingers-
