  1. Charlotte – 40 updates (3G)Wow, so THAT'S what they've been busy doing lately... Too bad they're not 800 updates, that'd be REALLY nice. BTW Robert, you should add that emoticon, it's a great classic.
  2. I'm pretty sure there's some testing going on at a tower in the Concord Airport area... Every time I go up 85 between exits 49 and 52, SignalCheck Pro on my EVO starts showing my phone flipping out, trying to connect to LTE endlessly, but there's no Servicing Cell... anyone else in the area seeing that? It stops, and connects to the one off exit 52 if I cycle airplane mode once I'm in range of that one...
  3. I mapped just a bit more off Hwy 221/321 in Blowing Rock. Going north, LTE stops just short of Doc's Rocks and Mystery Hill and going south, it stops a mile short of the BRP... not very much coverage there...then again, the terrain is all over the place. I also mapped a little on Hwy 29A and 29 from Landis to Kannapolis, since that tower on the Landis/Kannapolis border on 29 is lit up. Sprint was doing so well with lighting up towers but as of the last 2+ months, we've only had one good week of updates and that was 20 total with 10 LTE.
  4. They're starting to deploy LTE in Winston (4 towers up, last I remember... I actually mapped a bit on Sensorly last week)... become a sponsor and you can see exactly where on the Sponsor maps.
  5. That's what she said? Sorry, couldn't resist - and I just saw that comment...a little late, I know.
  6. I mapped a bit of Branchview, Cabarrus Ave E, Church St, and Union St. in downtown Concord today. I didn't do any speed tests but my RSRP on that route was -90 to -105 most of the time. LTE blipped on for just a second on Branchview, just north of Brookwood, so I'm assuming some of the panels are aimed back that way from the tower in downtown Concord. I'll have to see how far up Old Concord-Salisbury Rd it reaches at some point, maybe tomorrow.
  7. Geezus, Focker! I see some new ones completed in my general area...gonna have to go check those out! I won't mention locations since we're not in the sponsor forum. I haven't seen a week beyond 1-3 updates in at least a month for our market...
  8. The tower off I-85 and Poplar Tent is live! I mapped it but it's going to take a few more maps to darken it up. Speeds were pretty nasty too at 25 down and nearly 10 up.
  9. I was coming back from the Raleigh area and mapped the area around I-74 & I-85. I only caught it because I randomly decided to reset my data connection while running Signal Check and was already running Sensorly. I did a speed test about a 1/2 mile south of I-74 and got 8 down and 3.3 up... My RSRP at that point was almost -100, so not bad.
  10. LTE 800 is already starting in the Charlotte market or are you generalizing? Wasn't sure either way. Charlotte sure has stalled lately... I'm hoping for a Big Bang week.
  11. I mapped out the rest of Hwy 73 to Albemarle on Sensorly... coverage seems kind of light, but that may just be the awesome radios on my EVO. It feels like work on the Charlotte market has gotten really stale over the last few months...I haven't seen diddly completed between Kannapolis and downtown Charlotte recently.
  12. I'm still getting LTE in all the usual places between Kannapolis, Concord, Harrisburg, and the University area of Charlotte. My problem is that nothing new has popped up in any of the gaps I still have in over a month, with the exception of the tower at Stough Rd. & 49...and that tower is not impressive for coverage by any means.
  13. The GS3 used to he on the swap list for the EVO but was taken off for whatever reason, it's not just your area.
  14. I see it on Sensorly, but that particular tower at Stough & 49 must not be pointed at Harrisburg, because I was just there Tuesday and drove down Roberta / Pitts School and got nothing. I know what tower you're talking about at Morehead & Hwy 49, but I don't see that as a planned tower in the Sponsor section, although one is needed there! Trox, if you see RRUs and panels going up, take a picture or two (if you have time) and throw them up in the Sponsor section on the Reported Sightings thread and they'll help determine if it is on the Sprint equipment. I would, but I STILL haven't seen a single implementation in progress. I need to get some better pictures of legacy vs. AlcaLu equipment as a refresher to spot the difference in what the equipment looks like. Digiblur, what are the odds (if you know) that towers that aren't in the Sponsor section get put on the map? I know of another one in Kannapolis that isn't planned, but it seems like one could REALLY go in where I'm thinking.
  15. I'm hoping we have a more massive update coming soon. It's been a little slow for the Charlotte market the last few weeks. That seems to be the trend though. I have the opposite problem of most of you in here, I'm just BARELY within coverage of the tower that's lit up in Kannapolis. It's usually sitting at a RSRP of -110 to -115 most places in my house, give or take but even with that, I get 5-6Mb down, so I'm good until the other tower near me goes up which oddly enough is a bit further away, but my phone favors for 1X. Maybe it's pointed more directly at my neighborhood vs the closer one.
  16. If you became a sponsor, you could find out. I've found them to be pretty accurate as well, if not a little conservative, which is a change from the past.
  17. Are you high? Like njjdnt said, there's a good bit of LTE in Concord. Hwy 29 is solid through Concord, the northern part of Harrisburg and part of downtown Concord have LTE (albeit the signal's on the weak side from towers further away - for now), and it's on 49 from Central Cabarrus HS down past 601 (haven't been down past that in quite some time to know how it is closer to Mt. Pleasant). NICE! I've been waiting on the one at 49 & Stough. I was hoping the panels would be on that massive tower, but I think only government / state stuff is allowed on that. That tower alone will light up Harrisburg quite nicely and fill in the gap on Hwy 49 up to Central Cabarrus. That tower's also going to have to be responsible for lighting up pretty much all of Roberta Rd from what I can tell, but I could be wrong. The one at Rocky River and 485 will fill quite a gap too. I remember commuting down 29 and having LTE (a few pages back) the first morning that one was lit up. It's hot too with my speed tests running 25-26Mb at Pitts School & 29 - unfortunately, that tower is NOT aimed down Pitts School in your direction (towards the Carolando neighborhood and Robinson HS. It just BARELY reaches to Robinson with my EVO and cuts out after that. Seems like it's aimed in 3 directions, primarily - up and down 29 and up Pitts School towards I-85, as it reaches to the intersection at Weddington Rd. I hate to say it because of the distance, but you may have to rely on LTE from the tower at Stough and 49. It's kind of like the tower at the triangle (29/601/W. Cabarrus Ave) - it's very strong as well, but it's aimed up and down 29 and out Rock Hill Church Rd, so there's nothing left to go down Union Cemetery Rd and back that way. You and Lilpon should become sponsors and check out the maps to see where LTE is live and where all the planned towers are.
  18. I just got done taking a look and we're actually on the Sprint maps now... they may still be working on it, but it looks fairly accurate...I'm suprised they didn't "bolster" the maps, heheh...
  19. Have you been hiding under a rock? Network Vision/LTE Deployment Running List - it's under the Network forum. Last I checked, we were at roughly 52%, but we're probably close to 60% by now.
  20. That would make sense...but it definitely wasn't there when Statesville was first on the maps.
  21. Man, that's entirely too much work...I'm going to need you to repeat yourself a million times.
  22. According to Sprint's 4G LTE coverage map, it looks like Mooresville has been launched, although there are of course some parts without coverage, up and down Hwy 21. Unless coverage was just added up Hwy 21 from I-77 into Troutman in the last 2 weeks, that part of the Sprint LTE map is caca.
  23. Someone's phone is doing it east of Raleigh, in Knightdale and Zebulon.
  24. I just tried to map down Hwy 200 from 601 today and the tower at the Concord Speedway must be aimed nowhere NEAR Locust because the 4G didn't even make it halfway to Mt. Pleasant Rd...
