1. From my reading it's telling you to uncheck "destroy all" so that processes will remain running. Some folks had the option checked so that Sense was shutting down whenever they left the home screen. Unchecking the option should make multitasking better for those who had it checked. 2. If you have been having lots of issues with Sense restarts/crashes, Pocketables has posted a possible solution. http://www.pocketabl...evo-4g-lte.html

EVO LTE Heat

I actually tested this the other day. In an area of my building where I get basically no data or cell signal I was playing some Flick Golf for about 20 mins or so and the phone got really hot. My battery temp app was over 43 celsius. Later the same day I went into the same area, put my phone on Airplane mode and played the same game with just a slight rise in the feeling of heat from the phone. Typical for game playing. In either case, when I return to the area where I get good cell signal and get wifi, the temp drops fairly rapidly. It's apparent to me that in my case it's related to the radios.
4. I can confirm that since I un-checked the Auto Time Zone feature I haven't seen it once and that was about 2 weeks ago I would guess.
5. Thanks guys. I guess I will stay with Forum Runner since I do access Sponsor forums on the go and I have random passwords so I don't want to have to open LastPass everytime I try to go into a Sponsor area. Thanks! I saw twospirits sig and it reminded me of how I and a lot of other guys used to do it over at Android Forums. It can help answer many questions before they're even asked.
6. I currently use Forum Runner but I am wondering if Tapatalk gives a better experience. The main thing I dislike about Forum Runner is that it doesn't seem to allow zoom when viewing attached images. The navigation also seems a little clunky to me. Has anyone tried both, and if so, which would you recommend?
7. Well I'm glad it's working for you. This is the life of an early adopter. I don't usually do it with most technology but I bought both of my Evos on launch day. I didn't regret it with the OG and I hope not to regret it with this one.
8. Did you try cycling your data off and then back on manually? Also try going from LTE/CDMA to CDMA only and see what happens. There is always the old stand by of rebooting the device.
9. Whoa...talk about a brick!
10. Yesterday on a whim I decided to manually check for updates and I received a PRL update and a profile update. Perhaps those updates were getting pushed out to your phone.
11. My understanding, based on reading what Robert wrote in the opening post, is that this map shows sites that are scheduled to go live in June. Sites that have already gone live in previous months are not represented on this map.

As long it's good battery life for my needs that's all that really matters. But here you go.

Hmm.. I think I would just try again later. J/K but it may be a network issue . You could try it when you are on wifi or if you get it on wifi try when you're on 3G.
15. Yeah, "brake" it down because you're moving too fast...
16. Welcome! I agree about learning a lot from this place. Anyway, glad to have you!

What does the error message say exactly?

Das problem ist dies Herr; from what I have read, if you flash something without first clearing Google Wallet data it borks the secure element and then Google Wallet will no longer work. If you root and or flash before you setup Google Wallet then you should be good but once you're rooted you need to clear Google Wallet data each time before you flash. Not sure if this is an issue on the Nexus or only on the New Evo with the updated Wallet App.

I'm a little leery of rooting now with the issues that it may cause with the secure element. I know you're supposed to clear the Google Wallet settings before flashing but all it takes is forgetting one time and your secure element is toasted and unrecoverable. At least as far as I have read.

I've never tried that before, but it's sounds like a great practice. Since I haven't rooted this phone and have no backups I won't be doing it now but I will for future devices I purchase. Thanks for the idea!
