  1. Congratulations on the new job, Robert! Have a safe move, and best of luck settling into your new diggs! We'll all be here when you return to 'full time' status.
  2. All the more room for multi-window split screen for LTE hunting and Sensorly mapping!
  3. I agree, the Note 2 is just about the perfect device for me, but I've often felt that something just a bit bigger would be perfect. As I hold my Note 2 in landscape orientation to type this, my fingers are overlapping each other quite a bit behind the phone. I often interlock them as I type. I was all set to pick up the Note 3, but since it is not tri-band, that is no longer an option in my book. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 just might do it for me, even with its 'midrange' specs.
  4. Those covers are the ugliest things I have ever seen on a cell site.
  5. What part of town are you going to be in, downtown area or the 'burbs? I don't have LTE at my place in SW Beaverton yet, but I get it most everywhere else I frequent. I do get LTE for the majority of my drive to work in SE Portland (on the East side of the Willamette River), which is great. Downtown is fairly well covered, but the signal isn't consistently strong yet. Definitely give Sensorly a good look when you book your room!
  6. That would be amazing! Almost as amazing as the fact that college football is back!
  7. I have been using this Mediabridge charger since December. It has been fantastic. I use the USB cord from my old HTC EVO 4G (WiMax) in the 2.1 Amp port, and it seems to charge my Note II as quickly as my Samsung wall charger (if not slightly faster). It has kept my phone alive for hours on end while hunting and mapping LTE. http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-Output-Charger-iPhone-Design/dp/B007TV88F2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1375674761&sr=8-6&keywords=mediabridge
  8. Not overcomplicating things at all. Keeping both would allow the customer more choice, which is always a good thing. Lets people decide what plan best fits their needs.
  9. Have an awesome vacation, Robert! Given all you do, I almost feel guilty for going on vacation for the next two weeks, seeing as how I just got back from a weekend of hiking and visiting breweries in Southern Oregon...almost. Enjoy your time away. You deserve it! May you have a relaxing time, filled with much Samsung equipment and LTE goodness, but above all, don't forget to Sensorly map!
