  1. Haha, I almost did at the part where the narrator talks about free-climbing without a safety line and how OSHA allows for it. Tower climbers are freaking nuts!
  2. Me neither. I'll keep my feet on the ground, thank you very much!
  3. Just did a little mapping on US Hwy 101 from Seaside, OR, to Warrenton, OR. Finally, some purple on the Oregon coast! EDIT: Also went up to Astoria and across the bridge into Washington. LTE finally cut out around Fort Columbia State Park.
  4. Well, I like the idea so much that I am tempted to pony up to sponsor the remainder of the countdown. However, I won't, as I do not wish to be greedy and hog all the days. 1x on 800mhz will make a huge difference for me as I usually have a very weak 1x signal at home and often roam, so I am more than willing to pick up the tab for any days that go unsponsored. That being said... C'mon S4GRU community! The Nextel iDEN shutdown marks the end of a tumultuous chapter in Sprint history. Why not throw $5-$10 towward its end?
  5. I'm kind of surprised that more people have not jumped on board to sponsor the countdown clock. C'mon, people...it's for a worthy cause!
  6. If I'm not mistaken, the Sprint board would need to accept the Dish offer and then recommend it to the shareholders, who would then vote on it. The SoftBank deal has already been accepted, and Sprint would be on the hook for somewhere close to $1 billion ($600M payment to SoftBank and ~$400M in transaction/legal fees) if the deal falls through, making it unlikely that Sprint will back out.
  7. Does it really? That's a turn off for me. While I use Facebook and occasionally integrate certain apps and services, I refuse to use apps or services that require the use of another. Like how I refuse to rate apps on the Play Store...require me to sign up for Google+, which I will likely not use for anything else? No thanks.
  8. From what I've heard, Spotify is pretty similar to MOG in terms of available features. However, I have not tried Spotify, as I've been happy with MOG, so I cannot offer any real comparison between the two. Both seem to be pretty solid music services.
  9. I don't believe you can. As far as I know, downloaded music is only available within the app (haven't tried to access it any kther way), so DRM hasn't been an issue for me.
  10. I got tired of Pandora a couple years ago and jumped onto MOG. It has worked well for me so far. For $10/month, I have been able to stream anything I have ever searched for, and also download any track to my phone for offline listening. Also, it allows for streaming at 320 kbps over WiFi, which is a big plus. It also has a radio function and is constantly adding new artists/albums, which keeps me from getting bored.
  11. Logo, colors, PayPal donation button, AND Nextel iDen Shutdown countdown clock.
