    An argument could be made that a cell phone company is not an individual tech class up to extra class. They do not operate on the ham net frequencies. So this would not work for any building permits for them. Most hams build their towers on their land unless its a club. Cell providers are for a profit while hams are not out for a profit. Last I knew when I was on a kick again to study to get my ham license, a ham operator can not use his/her station for a profit.

    Make sure you not in global mode. Ive noticed that when I am in global mode I do not always connect to ehrpd. But im not 100% sure

    I would love to get 2mbps or even 1. The legacy equipment here in metro Detroit is really bad, but I just keep my head up everyday knowing it will get better soon"tm"

    Nyc does have lte in certain areas already. Check out senorly. Nyc is going to take some time before there is "100%" coverage. Like robert said work is happening even in markets that have not been announced. I wouldnt be surprised it this thread get locked for not following the rules.

    I've noticed all day today I have not been connecting to ehrpd just evdo rev a. Yesterday and before I was always connected to ehrpd. Ive also noticed a lot more lag/buffering with Netflix and Pandora today while working in Detroit. Edit: I have also been grtting a lot of signal drops as well

    True but he can not see thoses. Stopsign to see the locations your going to have to become a sponsor to see the in progress sites.

    Not sure if this was directed to me or not, but im going to answer like it was. I had no plans on talking about speeds. It was going to be qll about the towers, which includes whats on the ground and whats up on the tower.

    The site ids that we have in the sponsor forum I have not seen on any of the sites that I've stalked just the site id for american tower that ive seen.

    After the new year ill keep a better look out at the towers in Detroit, granted they might be a while but I've kinda been driving with blinders on to towers mostly. Robert if I see anything you want the pictures here or down in the sponsor forum? Happy New Year everyone

    Glad to hear it. Sounds like they are moving from the west to the east. This doesnt surprise me since there are less sites out there

    Now I dont know if its just me but the past two days I've had my service drop in areas I normally have service or I keep voice and lose just 3g. It could be the servers are just overloaded because of the holiday or there is something going on. I have noticed this with both my gs3 and my work phone which is a motorola admiral. Lets its good news instead of bad.

    I agree with you. I've had ehrpd since I got my gs3 last month, and I'll be happy when I do get lte. When I get it I get it, im currently happy with my 3g since I got my gs3 instead of being on my old samsung transform

    eHRPD has been active in the area for a while. I received it when I got my gs3 November 24th.
