  1. hmmmmmmm. I have done some research but it is only forums with people throwing guesses that are way off such as GPS. I personally only see it when I stream videos like youtube or with chrome on sites that are supported.
  2. I know this was covered at some point, does the one support svdo? I know once lte coverage is more concentrated it won't matter but for the time being at don't have lte in many places. Thanks in advance.
  3. Those of you with a nexus 7/10, have you seen the little grey dot in the top left side of the notification bar? I can't seem to find any articles on what it is or what the device is doing. Any clues?
  4. Dang, making me double think picking up the ONE. I was going to go pick it up tomorrow...I wonder if the commuter otterbox would have the same affect.
  5. Sorry, I'm a little confused. This method is for the One right? I'm still rocken the evo lte, or does this work for both devices?
  6. I only have windows 7 computers. Any hints for me to do it? I'm running twrp with stock with goodies ROM.
  7. My evo is rooted with s-on. I couldn't figure out how to do it haha.
  8. The link takes you to the htcdev page for the source code. But Google edition from Google wouldn't work on sprint though. Darn CDMA.
  9. I came across this article and I am curious as to if it would work for the Sprint variant. As HTC announced they would try to get Google Edition on early adopters of the One. Maybe those of you who are ROM experience can shed some light. The author even included the link to download the ROM. http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2013/6/26/htc-releases-htc-one-google-edition2c-rom2c-and-htc-8xt-for-sprint.aspx
  10. True, when do you think the next flagship is? Later this year for the rumored T6 if true, or sometime in 2014?
  11. Damn I should wait...but I REALLY like the front speakers.
  12. I'm assuming you are sticking to your lte evo until they come out. I'm just thinking the next htc phone won't be released until next year.
  13. Dang, I can't decide to upgrade to the ONE or wait for a tri-band phone... Any input?
  14. I know there is 20% off accessories at sprint.com also(no need to buy two or more). I do like me some amazon though haha. Pretty crazy! Starting at 3k, what's the upgrade price? Haha
  15. What cases do you guys have? I am thinking of a commuter otterbox or a cruzerlite. I'm not too rough with my phones, more for scratches and the rare 5 foot drop on possible concrete.
  16. I'm just curious, did you stimulate the battery pull?
  17. What do you mean? Isn't the EVO bootloader locked? It is just super easy to unlock. Good point, rooting is easy. Honestly my only gripe is not being able to get ride of blinkfeed. I wish it was treated more like a widget, I think it would really cool if it could be resized like modern widgets.
  18. I can only hope. Also, has one used Google Now to find the title to a song(alternative method without using "whats that song" widget? If so are there any issues? My friend got the One on AT&T and when using Google Now to find the title of a song it just "listens" but never finds it even though it is connected to LTE. My EVO LTE will find it in secs on a 3g. I have tried clearing the Google Search app's memory and cache and uninstalled/reinstalled updates. Can anyone confirm that it works properly on the Sprint HTC One?
  19. I am not the best at it. I recently rooted my evo lte and bricked it and took about a day and a half to fix it.
  20. What do you guys think the chances are Google/HTC releasing software to turn the Sprint HTC One into a "Google Edition" without the need to root?
  21. Turn the phone off Hold volume down+power Go down to "show barcode" It should show the phone's ID number which is on the sticker, if so I do not see a reason to remove it.
  22. I wish the roll out would be quicker. My friend already gets lte on T-Mobile. Is Sprint delayed because they have to install new fiber? Newb question haha.
  23. The black speck has gotten my attention, I did see a clear/black tpu case on amazon that looked cool also. I have a commuter for my evo now but I want something a little more then. How hard is the speck to get off? When I sold a white one and put it on for the customer it seemed super hard.
  24. What cases are good for the one? Is anyone using a speck case? I'm usually use otterbox but this time I want to try something different that still provides good protection I and is not too thick.
  25. Honestly, I want the One Max if it is tri-band and has a stylus similar to the Htc Evo View. I am flexible with screen size so 4.7+ is not really an issue if it has the feel similar to the Note 2 and not like the Nexus 7.
