  1. Also keep in mind with T-Mobile there is the monthly financing or full pop versus Sprint continuing to subsidize their devices. With T-Mobile's new upgrade six months consumers would be be paying 10 on top of the monthly installments. It comes to individual needs/wants.
  2. If they did increase the prices they would probably do similar to when they changed the premium data charge from 4G devices to all smart phones. It would be forced when upgrading or doing any swaps unless it is an insurance replacement.
  3. I think they will at some point. I hope it will have the stylus like the EVO View. If they come out with it I will sell my HTC one for it, maybe use my dads upgrade haha.
  4. I was gonna wait for the rumored T6 but then the rumors stopped so I got the One.
  5. I wonder if they will try to get Sero Premium customers to their new plans.
  6. I worked for up until mid May. Most people there aren't "techy" like us here, we breathe that stuff. Not to put the company or anyone down but a lot of reps are like car salesmen with the occasional techy one. When I was at a sales only store I was unofficially known as the "tech" but here I am a newb when it comes to tech. Gotta find the right person in store and customer service. Glad everything was resolved for ya!
  7. First try putting the sim from your defect phone into the replacement. If that does not work contact Sprint customer care or go into a corporate owned store so they can make sure the numbers match up, however not all Reps will know what to do(sadly most of them know next to nothing when it comes to trouble shooting). If you already sent the defect device back you will need customer care to send you a new one and then repeat the process to make sure they match in the system.
  8. Sprint trained all the reps when the iphone 5 came as it was the first LTE device on sprint that used a SIM(EVO LTE, Galaxy Nexus, Viper, etc did not use a sim card. I just applied the same logic to any other phones that used sim cards and made sure all the uccid's were correct with the dec when swapping.
  9. That is the problem with assurion. We should get new devices and the refurbs should go to "Sprint as you go" and/or boost and virgin.
  10. There looks like there is some active in point loma according to sensorly. If you become a S4GRU sponsor you could look at which sites active and future progress. Keep in mind sensorly is mapped by it's users so it is possible coverage is a little better.
  11. When I was still working at Sprint I remember the refurbished ones came in an envelope and new ones came in the original box same as when it was originally purchased. I know when new phones came out replacements new until enough was sent to assurion and then they became refurbs. Also when new phones came out for the first 60-90 days from launch techs were not supposed to open them up, just order a replacement usually being new. They could have changed the process, I left in the middle May.
  12. With a new one or an assurion refurbished?
  13. Damn, you guys were right. For owning the one for almost a week now I would have to say I am definitely warning up to blinkfeed. I like that it is just the article with the option to go to the main article if you want to read the comments. On another note, has anyone heard about the speakers being blown out? Since this phone is hard to fix if not impossible, I never put the volume all the way up to be on the safe side.

  15. I have noticed the samething. Hopefully things will speed back up now that the Softbank/Sprint/Clearwire is finally approved and is headed for completion this month.
  16. There is a change with the apps and how they work in the bottom tray. There is supposed also supposed to be an added long press the home button for menu and a home/swipe up for GoogleNow. I do hope for a radio update also.
  17. That's pretty good. I've just been downloading all my usual apps and what not which drains. I'm loving the phone so far. I just wish 4.2.2 was out for us already.
  18. Hey Gang, I just wanted to ask what kind of battery life you are experiencing. I haven't had the phone too long and I "think" it is pretty but it is hard to tell because I can't put the device down. How many of you keep the power save on all the time and what performance changes are noticeable?
  19. That carbon fiber does look pretty sexy. I shall look into it.
  20. This usually indicates they are working on the site that services that area, but I can't say for sure. Newport Beach's 3g has been really slow lately near Hoag hospital so hopefully that are working on the site for that area also. =]]
  21. I just realized the one doesn't have the downloads app like the evo. What is odd is the downloads app is on the one x and not evo.
  22. Same with me, I just checked for any updates and nothing. I can ask my old coworkers if there is anything in the playbook for updates(although it would it would probably leak before employees know). I have noticed my One will connect to 4g but when I pick it up it drops to 3g. If I can get it to keep and do a speed test it will get around 7mps which is highly usable. One thing to note is I live in the middle of three lte sites and I am literally in the weakest point for all three of them. I don't have a case yet so hopefully that will help when I added, much better connectivity than the EVO though.
  23. Thank you, thank you. I just setup the TV remove app it and it awesome. I didn't realize that it shows the shows currently playing and how far into the show it is. I can't wait until it picks up on my favorite channels and then just recommends those. I am going to give it a show with stock at first to see how I like it since the double tap still keeps the recent apps. When I worked for Sprint a few months ago the store manager picked me and I was supposed to get the phone for free but then before I got it the DM transferred me and it had to go to another employee in that store, oh well.
  24. I finally bit the bullet and though the HTC One, coming from the EVO lte. I love the phone so far. I don't miss the recent app at all. I haven't set up blinkfeed yet to see how I like it. I got a cruzerlite case but I will replace it soon with a commuter.
