Speeds are most likely poor on the overburdened/congested sites that they are referring to as it is so will being throttled really make a big difference. I would think not a whole lot.

I know Cellcom does. No clue about the rest. -
Sprint to join Rural Operators Roaming Hub (CCA and RRPP thread)
peteyz24 replied to marioc21's topic in General Topics
This is sort of what I was wondering. I figured verizon wouldnt let them share verizon specctrum. What I wonder is if there agreement with verizon will let them build out sprint spectrum in the same area. -
Sprint to join Rural Operators Roaming Hub (CCA and RRPP thread)

Anyone know how many CCA members are also in VZW's LTE in rural America program. I know Cellcom, my local one, is. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 -

Framily's Easy Pay vs 2yr subsidized pricing
peteyz24 replied to MacinJosh's topic in General Topics
Is it just me or does it seem more and more that Sprint wants us, the customers, to do the job of the marketing and/or sales department? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 -
Boost and Virgin throttling heavy data users to 128kb in May
peteyz24 replied to dkyeager's topic in General Topics
I like this. Maybe now after all the kids on Boost and Virgin come into town for school my Sprint proper phone will actually be able to do something. (Still on legacy backhaul here) -
I would say look into the awd just for the reason that you will not have to think about it. If you have wheel spin the awd will kick in. Second recommendation would be a 4x4 that has auto 4x4 setting. I'm not sure how well a fwd suv type vehicle would to in muddy conditions. Seems like there would be a lot of dead weight for the drive tires to drag thru the mud. A decent set of tires makes one heck of a difference as well.

Framily's Easy Pay vs 2yr subsidized pricing
peteyz24 replied to MacinJosh's topic in General Topics
In the original framily thread I read something about existing accounts cant join together in a framily. Is this the case? -
The Sprint link states "Sprint customers will experience improved voice, data and messaging services in locations that previously had limited or no mobile network coverage." So yes, it includes areas of roaming.

Framily's Easy Pay vs 2yr subsidized pricing

I am in the same boat. I know 4 people including myself that have Sprint. One of them just upgraded his phone so he wont see any reason to switch his plan. The other 2 will probably switch carriers when they try to upgrade and find out they can't. I have been trying to explain to them that they haven't been "paying a 4G fee for the 4g they don't have" for over 2 years and have not been able to make any progress. Nearest Sprint store is over 75 miles away, so that is out. Not sure what I am going to do at this point. -

A large majority of the sites in the Green Bay/ Appleton area have been NV 3g completed. This should take care or the CSFB issues that have been happening with the tri-band devices. According to what I read in this thread: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5001-tri-band-lteecsfb-issues-thread/

Mapped some LTE inside Lambeau today. Unfortunately it was as useless as the Packers Defense. Need more sites updated yet I guess. Though with that many peple in the area that may not even help.

oops, my bad, should have thought about what I read before responding.

'96 Cheverolet Beretta z26 for the winter daily driver. '85 Pontiac Fiero GT for the summer daily driver. '94 Corvette for my weekend toy. '04 Silverado for year round truck duties. When all of them are parked outside I have been told that my yard looks like a GM used car lot. As far as a dream car. There are just way to many to list. But I think a Vanquish would top the list right now. A new Sting Ray would be second.
