  1. A thought I had poking around Spectrum Omega. What are the odds of Sprint doing swaps with Dish for their PCS H block? Do they even have anything Dish would want?
  2. I'm tempted to get an Android phone just so I can download this app and support you.
  3. Me as well. I'm curious about something. If this does have VoLTE, if I start a VoLTE call on it and then go outside will it 1) continue onto the regular Sprint network and 2) continue onto the regular Sprint network even if VoLTE is not enabled in my area yet?
  4. K, that doesn't answer my question. I didn't ask for your opinion on what you think is going to happen with the merger. My question was, if T-Mobile backs out, thus giving Sprint 600 million in a breakup fee, what would the odds be of them using some of that 600 million to buy some of Dish's (or anyone's) lowband.
  5. Something I'm really curious about. If Sprint gets the $600,000,000 breakup fee from T-Mobile, what are the odds that they use some of that to buy some of Dish's lowband?
  6. Awesome, thanks! They said my mums should be here tomorrow but she hasn't even gotten an order number yet.
  7. Did you get an order number or anything in your email? Or just the shipping notification?
  8. From the Methodology page: We select leading Android-based smartphones for each network during our device selection process. During the device selection process, RootMetrics benchmarks device models to determine the best commercially available phone model from each network in order to capture the best possible user experience for data, call, and text usage on each particular network. Benchmarking models before testing also helps remove limitations that can be caused by specific model/network interactions.
  9. Holy wow! With 4x4 MIMO and 256QAM, it's 391Mbps per 20MHz channel. So 1,173Mbps is the theoretical max for 3 20x20 channels.
  10. Yeah. 5x5 band 26 isn't enough. It's like the dumpster fire that is T-Mobile band 12 most places. It's also 5x5.
  11. I think it's the lack of lowband. Band 26 speeds just kill them.
  12. Just put my order in. Replacing my mum's 2.5. They are going to overnight it apparently.
  13. Can I order one online or do I have to call or chat with CS?
  14. I should note that there is very good band 25 available and I'm in Grand Forks which has service. I can see three Sprint towers from my apartment. For some reason my phone jumps on band 26 even when there is strong band 25 available.
