  1. They bumped me up by a week when I told them I was going to reup two of my lines and that I would be out of town on the day of my upgrade. I called in to CS. That way I had the option of going anywhere since the system showed me to be eligable. Sent from my Note Deuce using Tap-uh-talk
  2. The suspense is killing me. Whereabout are you looking to fill in? I'm in Glendale (nights and weekends anyway).
  3. This thing's got so much headroom, the bloatware doesn't bother me as much (which is one of the reasons why I rooted my OG EVO). Another reason I rooted last time was also to get hot spot but I found I rarely used the feature. This time around, I'll stay stock until I get real bored...which could take a while with this device.
  4. Wow, this monster is nice. Just got it delivered. One thing I don't recall reading was that Swype is pre-loaded, which is great for me since I've been using Swype on my OG EVO from the jump. Also, the swype keyboard makes typing with one hand a bit more manageable.
  5. Well, I should be tracking on the way home to Glendale from West L.A. since I got my Note 2. Just have to activate and load sensorly.
  6. Speaking of which, are you the one to thank for the Sensorly updates in Glendale? I see coverage is growing considerably and none too early as I'm expecting my Note 2 from Brown today.
  7. It's looking less and less likely that an LTE version will be released with this phone... http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Nexus-4-Google-LTE-Smartphone,18804.html
  8. Wow. 8GB or 16GB with no external memory. The rest of the specs are on par with what was reported. BUT NO LTE and no announcement for CDMA version. http://www.gsmarena.com/hurricanes_be_damned_the_lg_nexus_4_goes_official-news-5013.php
  9. Just played with one in a T-Mo store. Their 4G was very fast (didn't get opp to run speed test). The phone does everything right now. No waiting. Pretty impressive. The size is a no issue. Put one in my pocket and sat down, plenty of room left. Pretty nice device althout it will take some getting used to with the S-Pen. I'm pretty much set on this device now. As for the working out comment, I'll just find a armband big enough and slap it in. I'm a big (read fat) guy so it won't look too funny on my arm.
  10. Yes and no. Would the Nexus mean that there would be no S-Pen apps/functionality aside from using it instead of you finger? Would the dual screen mode go away? I'm all for a streamlined OS but it seems that a unique device like this may be better suited for custom os/apps.
  11. C'mon y'all. Don't be stingy with the pix of your new toys. Let's see those N2s. I'm still debating whether I should get on 11/1 when my upgrade comes up or whether I should hold on to my OG Evo for the WiMax.
  12. why do i feel like we're the last living humans and we're reporting zombie sightings? sorry for the digression.
  13. I've been using sensorly with my EVO 4G in the Glendale to/from WestL.A. area and will continue when I upgrade to an LTE phone. I sure would like to see more LTE before saying bye to WiMax.
  14. Wow, this is surprising. Don't get me wrong. The Note 2 is a great device but I thought it's size would make it a good seller but not so much that supply would be an issue. I'm still debating on getting the N2 or to wait for the next nexus phone. You know, I've found that the better my kids behave, the less motivated the store employees are to get rid of me. So let your kids (the 4yo and 2yo anyway) do their thing. It might just get you in and out all that much faster! You're right though, you're not going to make it to the Customer of the Month wall.
  15. So what's the best guess for the release of this phone? The instant update aspect is really appealing.
  16. Back from the dead for the sake of not creating a new thread... Any one have any dish on the rumored upcoming Nexus phones? It seems the LG is a sure thing and there is hints of an HTC and perhaps a Sony? What's the likelihood these come out in the near future? The more I think about the Note 2, the more I think I would like to have a Nexus for the immediate updates. Especially since 5.0 is a real possibility in my next contract cycle (Jan 2013-Jan 2015). Relevance to this thread, I'm really interested in the Sony because hardware wise, they seem to be extremely well put together.
  17. We're in Oct. and still no LTE in L.A. Any word out there?
