  1. Sprint needs to get a move on, coverage wise: http://www.cnet.com/news/t-mobile-vows-to-match-verizons-coverage-in-next-12-months/
  2. Not that I want a Note (too big for me), but I was surprised that there wasn't a "flat" screen version. So I wonder if that means the GS8 next year will only have a "edge" version.
  3. I think it could get sites upgraded faster. But I agree that it won't get permitting done faster.
  4. But I knew the resale value of a Samsung phone was a lot lower than an iPhone before they started Galaxy Forever. Shouldn't they have know that before they started it?
  5. For me, this is not surprising. With so much B41 spectrum, I would expect that there would be at least 6x CA one day. Maybe not in a phone, but at least a home modem.
  6. I mean, if there were ever a time to do that change, NOW would be a great time, IF they are really getting rid of the 3.5 MM port. Now accessory makers are making lightning accessories. Now say that Apple decides to change the lightning port to a USB port with the iPhone next year. Now people will be upset since they just bought a lighting accessory and they are again changing the port. But I do agree with you. Apple is in their own world.
  7. With the rumors that the iPhone 7 will not have a 3.5mm audio port, and with leaks of images of lightning port headsets, do you guys think that mean the iPhone will not be getting USB-C support anytime soon?
  8. A new update is out: https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/223040
  9. If anyone is going to be at the parade downtown today, let us know how the network holds up with all those people down there. Some speed test screenshots would be nice. I hear close to a million people will be down there.
  10. I see the shakeup as potentially another delay in Sprint getting funding for network upgrades/expansion.
  11. Hopefully, Sprint implements this. Since they don't have VoLTE implemented anywhere yet, it should be a better solution to just implement this.
  12. I think the problem with plans like this that sets a max download speed you can do, is that Sprint (nor any other wireless provider) can not guarantee that a particular customer can get say 8Mbps consistently.
  13. I agree. It's nice to see this in a market, but when it's consistently in ALL their markets (and beyond), it will be great!
  14. There was a coverage map update today (6/10).
  15. To me thought, it's a bad user experience. Having your users able to have a data connection, but can't make/receive calls.
  16. Ok, so this is possible and this is what happens. Thanks. That's all I wanted to know.
