Since the s7 thread is locked, I'm assuming this is the one to use? I've had my s7 for a day and a half so far. Got 4:30 SOT today while using it more heavily than normal. Only quirk I noticed is it has been hesitant to lock onto CA. I've been around CA enabled towers all day but only saw it actually connected once. Performance has been very good though. How satisfied are you guys with the Note 5? I'm considering using my upgrade on it. Sprint is doing a $200 off with a working smartphone trade in promo. With the 2yr contract price and activation fee, it would work out to $86 for a 32GB Note 5. I'd trade an old Galaxy S2 to get the deal.

I did a factory reset on my wife's g4 as soon as it was finished upgrading. She's been using it for a week now and doesn't have any complaints. Battery life seems about the same Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

It was the corporate store in Aurora. I'll have to dig up the phone number when I'm back in my office, but call any of the sprint stores and ask for the Aurora repair center and they'll get you the number. First person I got on the phone confirmed the recall and gave me the offerer of a galaxy s6 or a replacement g4. He said there was no timetable on the return he knew about since it was a recall. So I confirmed the G4 recall is a real thing. The manager I spoke to said they are taking them back blanketly, even though only certain batches of them are bad. Anyways, it appears to be a standing offer that you can get either a new G4 when they arrive (who knows when), or a 64GB Galaxy S6. He was under the impression that the replacement offer would be good down the road since it's a blanket recall, so the normal return window doesn't apply.

My wife's G4 is up and running. It got the ZV6 update first thing right out of the box and has ran smoothly in my 15 minutes with it. Wow that camera is lightning fast compared to the G2 and my N5..

I'm not having any luck finding any new phones on Amazon for Sprint 2 year contracts. (S6, G4, iPhone 6S all missing..). Where are you going to see the deals?

I'm thinking of picking up a G4 for the wife next week. How have y'alls held up thus far? I'm mainly worried about touch screen issues from my bit of browsing around the web.

Anyone have a link to explain what using b41 for backhaul would look like? I tried searching the forums and generally on the web but couldn't find anything that made sense to me.

So one of the sore spots in Weston might finally be getting filled in. This tower had been 3g upgraded for about a year, and really makes a nice size LTE hole. All this time I thought it was just waiting on backhaul.. Turns out they are replacing the tower all together! Hopefully things will move quickly once it's up.

How are you determining what you are connected to? My experience in that area was like you are describing when connected to the lower capacity band 25/26s, but vastly different on the high capacity band 41. I would be very surprised if the high capacity band was that over saturated since July.

The highways in Fort Lauderdale/Miami are blanketed with wall to wall B41. Can't complain about the experience on those if you have a triband device. I can't say the same for the areas off the highway.. those were hit or miss. There are also still plenty coverage gaps with the initial B26 rollout. My guess is they haven't optimized much yet, possibly because so much b41 work is still being done. South FL is definitely over saturated without B41 though.. Saw that very vividly on a couple towers near where I was staying that went live between a couple of my trips. Speeds on B25/26 were sub 1mbps prior to b41 going live, and 6-10mbps after.

Just as a follow-up, my 2nd battery and install have worked perfectly. All the strange issues have been gone since the new one was installed, and the battery life is back to the 2+hrs SOT that I was used to seeing. I don't think it was my install that was bad after talking with the tech, so I just had bad luck.

Getting my 2nd replacement battery installed today. Did the first one myself and have been getting all sorts of random craziness: random shut offs, wildly off temperature readings, app crashes, camera failing to load.. Taking it to a repair shop this time in case my install was the issue.

Posted this in the Jacksonville thread by mistake: Have there been any 2nd carrier b25 sightings in and around Orlando? Is that even possible? I'm in the airport right now and scp is reporting it
