  1. Some clear can do ca, i have came across a handful in Chicago last week, but feels like most did not. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  2. I've noticed this at some tower also.... I was literally across the street from one tower yesterday and I couldn't get a signal better than -80dbm. thinking this maybe a down angle issue (thinking i was below where the antenna was pointing) I tired moving around a bit further away only make the signal worse
  3. I was around the loop last week by the Chase tower and observed B41 carrier aggregation, but speed was only still about 10mbps probably due to too many people in the loop.
  4. If the profile update doesn't work, you can manually enable CA with ##DATA# and your MSL code, the MSL should be in the email that was sent to you when you first activated the phone
  5. I don't have that issue but I'm on the 920 not the 925
  6. Confirmed CA in Chicago Market. See post linked below http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6471-chicagoland-market-20-premier-spreadsheet-map/page-31&do=findComment&comment=428691 Note my S6 had CA disabled when i brought it, had to enable it myself luckily the activation email contained the MSL so I didn't have to call Sprint at all
  7. Is my understanding correct that CA is only on B41 and not available on B25 even in markets where multiple B25 channels are available?
  8. Here was the update from my wife's note4 last week. It did not fix her Bluetooth headset problem
  9. I didn't mean that Chicago should have the exclusive on this, I was just surprised that this was confirmed elsewhere first if Chicago was "likely" to have this feature in testing first
  10. Here was where i got that impression http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-bring-lte-carrier-aggregation-multi-layer-mimo-chicago-investment-pu/2015-03-31 http://www.lightreading.com/mobile/4g-lte/sprint-to-bring-540-jobs-lte-a-to-chicago-/d/d-id/714752? http://www.computerworld.com/article/2903874/sprint-to-rollout-lte-advanced-to-chicago-area.html Double checking, seem the press release did not specifically said CA but the articles mentioned it :/ http://www.fiercewireless.com/press-releases/mayor-emanuel-and-sprint-announce-more-300-jobs-and-major-infrastructure-in-0
  11. My wife's Note 4 had an update last night. I'll see what it was upgrade to later today
  12. I thought Chicago was suppose to be first to get/test CA? anyway I will be able to upgrade next week. I will most likely get a GS6 and see if i can get CA in Chicago
  13. http://www.phonearena.com/news/HTC-One-Max-now-getting-its-Android-Lollipop-update-in-some-regions_id70608 International version getting lollipop, crossing my fingers sprint version won't be far behind
  14. appear to have an OF5 http://device.sprintpcs.com/Samsung/SM-N910P-SPRINT/OF5.rdf
  15. I'm having Bluetooth and apps fc / permission issue with this lollipop update My cars bt, when dialing from the phone our from the car, the audio is piped to the earpiece on the phone even if the bt button is highlighted. Have to click the bt button in the dialer app after a call us connected to get bt to work in the car. Repairing and safe mode made no difference. From googling seem many other suffer from this also Also have a few app that fc upon boot Lastly one of my voip app say it was denied permission to the microphone.... Sigh wish Google and sprint did better qa.....
  16. By the same token most of us work without a contract. let say you are expecting your mid month pay day to paid bills that are due, and on the day you are expecting to get pay, they tell you they are changing to a monthly pay cycle. Where all previous indication (ie the days until upgrade count down) have never indicated other wise, let's see how happy you are and if you want to complain or not. Just because something is not in a contract doesn't mean it's right or smart thing to do
  17. Latest update, 1 of my 3 affected line was reset to 20 months tonight, the other 2 still at 24 months. (4th line was recently upgraded so correctly at 24)
  18. There has been post/threads on the sprint.com forum from SprintCare CSR saying people will get their upgrade reset within 48 hours, but other rep are quoting from script about new 24 months policy. As of this morning mine is still showing as 24 months. page 9, 10 for example https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/186708?start=135&tstart=0
  19. All my phones are working so i won't have any problems turning them in so they can pay for the ETF. Cost of new phone... I'm supposed to be getting new phones anyway. what's the difference if the cost is already baked into the existing Sprint subsidy plan? just now breaking it out into the monthly phone installment plan w/ cheaper service plan instead.
  20. That is fine, and I'm expecting to goto the phone installment plan option down the road, but they should let people know right from the start when they begin service (new contract or new phone installment plan). Not change the way upgrade eligibility in the middle of someone service... especially ON THE DAY they are due for the upgrade you take it away from them
  21. Nothing, so what is to keep me at sprint? I will even have the options get unlocked phones like one plus one at a good discount which sprint will never get. Tmobile will pay my etf, so I don't even need to wait till my contacts are up
