  1. So after my experience at the Sprint store it got me thinking. The tech wouldn't give me a SIM without having my phone there so he could activate. He won't be able to lock my phone down, right? Do the nexus 5's sold from Sprint on contract come unlocked for gsm use?

Hey digi, what is your network speed icon in next to your signal values and how did you name your folders have a square platform. I'm also on nova.

  3. For me they wanted to have the phone in hand before giving me a simm, but in the end I got one after handing it over. They activated it and I walked away. When I called on thephone to Sprint World Wide they just sent one to me in the mail for free.

So I can probably order one online via chat and try my luck in a store?

  4. My mom is a doctor. I take it she signed a prescription for your eHERPIES.

I see what you did there... In all seriousness, does Sprint need to pull my account up before they will hand over a sim card?

  5. Ironically, my sprint corporate store fed me a line and wouldnt give one up. I went to a sprint third party retailer and they were more than willing. Was told all sprint stores were sent a bunch specifically for the nexus. He had a stack of like 5-10 that had come in the week before (this was last week). Take that for what its worth though.

    They are free, correct?

  6. Unfortunately, a 3g acceptance doesn't really mean anything to me right now. If we had new backhaul then it would be excellent, but I think we might just be getting these acceptances because the inspectors decided to come to town. We already knew that almost all the sites around ABQ had hardware upgrades. Here's to hoping we get a Christmas surprise and get a few lte acceptances in the next couple weeks.

  7. for now...Sprint has a lot of spectrum in places that's live, only scaled down by back haul. Theoretical speeds are about 60mbps down and up to 20mbps up. Of course, when Sprint needs to up the speed all it is is a back haul upgrade.
