  1. eHRDP should indicate that the upgrades are either in process or completed though since eHRDP uses the LTE network as a backend. I get LTE at other places in O'Fallon so that lead me to my conclusion that it is the one tower down the road from me that isn't completely finished.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Wrong. eHRPD has been rolled out to all legacy sites a while back. Simply being on eHRPD says nothing about the status of upgrades.

  2. So this is what my connections shows. I am unable to load any web pages and can not get a speed test to preform. Tells me network communication problems. Sprint has a repair ticket on it. Been this way since the integration. Hope they have it fixed on Monday as promised.

I'm not sure a repair ticket will do much.  If it's most of the area experiencing problems, which it seems is the case, I would bargain it has to do with NV.  Maybe they are preparing for LTE integration?

  3. Today I have been having a hard time with the site using tapatalk. I can see a thread but when I click it it will just infinitely say it's loading. Anyone else had these problems?

  4. Getting a late breakfast, and my 3G was running nearly 1.9Mbps, and now completely nothing. It says full bars, Sprint 1x, but no data, calls, or SMS. same exact location.

whenever you post a speed test result include the ping time as well. If you get a pretty good 3g test and your ping is less than 100ms, you may be on a backhaul updated site.

  5. Shotty service, reception going in and out... Sounds like business as usual to me. Today is the 17th and no LTE? Let me count the hands for people who were expecting to have LTE today???

I'm moving to San Jose area in February, so they at least have LTE there. Was getting 24mbps download speeds when I was there in early december

    I believe today is the 19th ;)

  6. Phone is doing the same thing today in the same place. It seemed fine at my house (Wyoming/ Candelaria) all yesterday evening and this morning. But now back here at my shop (SanMateo/Menaul) ....it is doing the same thing as yesterday. I can't even dependably make a phone call. Up until yesterday, I never had a bad signal here at my shop.

Someone please tell me this is a harbor of good things coming soon?????????????

    Christmas surprise????????

I can't say too much about what they are cooking up, but if you become a sponsor you can at least see where the towers that have been accepted with no hardware are around town.

  7. Well I think I'm going to have rma. I just played music for the first time, thought it seemed quiet so I was looking at the speakers. I placed my thumb over one speaker and the sound went away. I have a dead speaker...smh.

  8. Yeah. When I complained to Sprint to get some kind of credit, the rep told me there are many many many upgrades coming within the next two months related to NV. One rep told me that LTE should be available at my house by 12/17th. So maybe that was part of the upgrade, yet it hasn't officially been turned on.

You should always take what a rep says with a grain of salt, which you might be doing, but that timing could be close. It really does seem that after all the activity we have seen we should start seeing some lte. Not to mention the century link guy Robert ran into in Santa Fe a while ago that said work was definitely being done.

  9. Scary night. I Tried a MA7 patch to remove the password on the debug screen and got my self into a boot loop. :td: I couldn't get it to go into recovery mode either. :o Someone had posted it worked with a different 4.3 rom and I figure it couldn't hurt to try it. A little searching and I found a rooted MC2 exe file that had an auto fix it odin file and ran that and then flashed my preferred recovery and restored. :tu: A little lost sleep but I managed not to panic fix it. Now I don't think I will be so hesitant to try a new rom having fixed my screw up. :P

And now for no reason other than I am so sleepy I am getting silly a Ninja :ninja:

I bet every flashaholic has had multiple "ffff...I just ruined my $600 device" haha. I've always been lucky to find my way out of what seem to be hopeless situations.

  10. I've been doing my best to read through and search the thread, but can't find something that has probably been discussed already. What band priority settings are you all using? I enabled all the bands already but don't have a firm grasp on the priority relationship determined by 1 or 0. Thanks in advance.

  11. My wife told me about two hours ago that her cell reception was terrible at the Costco on Renaissance, where she works. Unusually poor. I soon noticed that my phone (at San Mateo and Menaul) has been going in and out of service steadily for a couple of hours now too. The LAST time this happened (this past summer) there was an improvement in both data and call signal soon afterwards. I assume this is evidence of some sort of upgrade going on at the moment.

I have little faith that it is any indication that LTE is any more eminent than it was yesterday, though, as it seems to only affect voice and text but not internet data.

    Any thoughts?

I had noticed an increase in having no data. This can only be a good sign. We have been getting 3g acceptances all over town, hopefully they are staying to start accepting lte sites soon.

  12. I was able to get a free tmobile SIM on there website during a promotion. If I would have put it into a qualifying tablet I would have gotten the free data. I wouldn't be too worried about what the op did since they have been giving these things out for free anyways.

  13. I think the best way to get a sim is to go to a sprint store. Some people have had some luck calling the International sprint line but I'm not sure many have actually received then in the mail even though the person on the line said they ordered one.

Got my phone today. Walked into the Sprint corporate store, they put the SIM in the phone for me and sent me on my way to do on-line activation.
