  1. Unmarked suv at Cottleville 2 parked at base of the tower / cabinets. Its white though. Could just be NSA putting in the meta data logging stuff I guess. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  2. I wish we could know what's the hold up is on sites. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  3. Really wondering what's the hold up for Cottleville 2. RRU's have been up a month already. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  4. One of the slides (#38) had info that in Japan they have an opt in thing that tracks app data r speeds and they use that to help plan network upgrades.. P.S. when I first looked at slide 67... WTF a missile launcher?!?!?! ... its a crane.... I guess I should have kept my glasses on.
  5. Might be what's killing mine. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  6. I trying to figure out how much mire data a full 3 band lte site would be compared to 3g. 800/1900 Lte what 12x each over evdo? 24x for the td-lte? That would be 1+12+12+24 or 49x what I am used to. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. I will brag too, I just mean its plenty fast. Bragging right do drive customers tho. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  8. Not sure what that one post implies about Sprint being an Internet company and the big 2 are telecommunications companies. I hope Son doesnt push Sprint as a content delivery service. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  9. Or 60 mbytes/second max. Robert already hit about 60% of that. Its all just bragging rights anyway I don't think anything really needs even 10 mbytes/second. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  10. Shhhh maybe he won't notice Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  11. Personally I still think that the top end speed Robert got may have been limited by the Wifi speed of the Note 2.
  12. Now that most all sites will get the fast 2500 TD-LTE plus 800 and 1900 FD-LTE what's the level of backhaul going to be needed now. I'm just wondering if the backhaul they ran with the old level of NV upgrades will still be enough (no topics were derailed in asking this question)
  13. do you have that advanced signal check app? it has a short cut now for Samsung phones so you don't have to ##Debug# Sprint anymore.
  14. I don't see any advantage to move CDMA off PCS. Heck older phones may not even support CDMA on 800 and most places they could do a 2nd LTE carrier in PCS anyway. Shutting of the CDMA would not free up enough room for an additional 5x5 LTE either if I remember right.
  15. 800 CDMA will be nice tho, better signal all twe way to the bathroom. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  16. Sprint and Clearwire on the same tower 100 yards from the apartment. Was stoked then remembered I just use Wimax at home Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  17. Rare video of Sprint 2500 LTE going live (not really ) FYI its a 500KV switch opening
  18. No signs of LTE life from the 2nd Cottleville site yet. Sigh... I think somewhere there is a True North crew member who worked on the Motherhead site laying in bed thinking to himself "I know I forgot to do something. oh well... "
  19. I'm sure excited about all this. I can't wait to have a triband phone, but Sprint tells me I will have to wait till June of next year.
  20. If anyone talks to a crew working on a Clearwire site see if they can/will verify its for LTE and just not more Wimax.
  21. With 2500 LTE going to NV siters now will S4GRU add tracking for LTE 800 and 2600 like the current 1900 LTE, 800 CDMA, and good old 3G? Any guess if Robert will get any 2500 site acceptance reports? or 800 LTE later? Which will come first on the average NV site 800 LTE on a NV site or 2500? Tri band panels seem more reasonable to expect eventually now to me, but I think they won't be available in time for current sites.
