  1. Looks like 800 LTE is going to be sooner than I would have thought. 2 800 live in the Chicago market. 2600 is livesome places too. Go Son, go Softbank! Discount details: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5112-special-premier-sponsor-offerfor-black-fridaycyber-monday/?p=245628
  2. thanks I didn't want to go thru 380 posts and not find it. IF Sprint does a S4 "Advanced" with a Snapdragon 800 later next year it would be my choice if a TriBand Note 2/3 descendant doesn't pop first.
  3. I forget did the stuff that has been found so far for the SPH-L720T list the processor or just the bands? If the SPH-L720T is Snapdragon 800 it most likely will be my next phone.
  4. Umm that mean it is safe to flash the new modem then? I'm not up on modem requirements. Sent from my SPH-L900
  5. I made a post over in the sponsor MO NV map thread last night the site at 70/Truman road just out side the fence of my apartment went LTE live last night. I got 12 Mbps from my bed using it with a 53 ms ping. Not too bad, but I will still be on my WiFi at home. Out and about it will be nice. It's been a bit since one went live in St Chuck.
  6. You may (most likely) be right. I got off into another forum on XDA and didn't notice earlier. Sent from my SPH-L900
  7. Weird, the XDA portal points to it. Thanks for the warning. Sent from my SPH-L900
  8. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47812894 This count as a base?
  9. Ya I remembered you did the how to I'm just lazy so I asked for the roll in. Some guy reporting you can't roll back to MD4 so waiting may be best. Sent from my SPH-L900
  10. Anyone verify you can go back to MD4? Someone on XDA said it hangs.
  11. If / when you do a 4.3 ROM how about considering rolling in a shortcut to the ##debug# lte screen for easy access to PC IDs?
  12. I assume you can still use ##debug# in the dialer to get there, can you verify that still works with 4.3?
  13. I have my doubts that they know very fast if a tower has problems based on calls I made to them in the past. It wouldn't hurt to call them if you can stomach being told to restart your phone. If you know of other people having the same issue tell them. Softbank in Japan has a system I saw in one of the power points back during the merger process that people can opt in to running a program that tracks the quality of your connection and reports problem spots. I sure hope that move to have Sprint follow the same. Found it http://webcast.softbank.co.jp/en/results/20130730/pdf/2014q1.pdf its on the page numbered 39 in the bottom right. They call it data connection rate survey. The page numbered 68 makes me think they will bring it here soon.
  14. Does the Signal Check shortcut to the Samsung hidden menu to get to where you can see the LTE PCID still work?
  15. I think the official Spark update for the N5 is early 2014.
  16. What's the deal with Knox built into 4.3? No Root? Voids warranty flag? Causes scurvy?
  17. I would test too but I'm not real good with roms and stuff so others may work better for you
  18. Yup he is kind of bummed about Sprint's handling of a site he uses all the time. If he doesn't I would understand but I want to try a 4.3 build once one like his no bs rom is out somewhere, but I don't expect worlds of difference, more of just staying current for me.
  19. Looks like the stock sprint 4.3 release is live. If interested the link is in the main Note 2 thread.
  20. All in all with the temporary issues can you still use the N5 as your daily carry? I read you had some phone and SMS issues, they get worked out?
  21. Ok just backing you up then. I thought a picture to show it works would be helpful as some still say the N5 won't do B41 yet.
  22. This guy has figured out Nexus 5 and band 41. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4950-sprint-spark-official-name-for-the-tri-band-network-was-sprint-to-demo-its-25ghz-network-technology/page-27&do=findComment&comment=241676 look what he got:
  23. I forgot what forum here but others are also having that issue.
