  1. No, your device should connect automatically if it is capable and there is band 41 available. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  2. Wow, did not see that coming. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. The information does not explicitly state that it can't be. It should work like every other trade in promotion. The point of the trade in promotion is to lower the out of pocket expense for the customer to encourage them to spend the money here instead of elsewhere. Every single trade in promotion I have ever processed has been able to use it to purchase the new phone. I have seen nothing that states this is any different. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. The gift card is not issued until the time of trade-in after the activation of the Note 4. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  5. Every Nexus so far has been a one year device. I would guess that Google only had a certain amount made. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. EOL only means it is no longer for sale. It does not stop working, stop being covered by insurance, stop being covered by manufacturers warranty. All phones stop being sold at some point. This really is a non story. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. You can also do it over the phone. When you call to get your account balance it lists device payments separately. You can then opt to pay for the device. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. I am wondering if it will be a lower cost device destined for the prepay channels. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. Correct. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  10. Via Sprint's website " Sprint Simply Unlimited Plan: Offer ends 10/16/2014. Available only for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus" Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. You won't like him when he is angry Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. IPhone devices are more likely to retain their value after 24 months. Very few if any Android devices can compete on resale value. Look at the Galaxy S3 vs the iPhone 5 on the resale market. Sprint can make back some of that iPhone discount on the resale market. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. Rooted phones are generally not an issue. In my particular store there would be few that would even know what to check for. I traded in my old EVO 4G LTE running MeanROM. As for the second part, like I said prior, I will check the specifics this weekend but the trade in system and the POS system are two completely different systems. Trade in gift cards are not issued by POS. They are generated prior to the completion of a sale. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. One could assume it will drop at some point, but I can not share specifics of future price changes. That is an instant termination of employment. Best Buy does price match competitors for same devices. If another retailer is selling the Sprint Galaxy Note 4 for $300 it can be priced accordingly. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. No, our system just takes the payment for tax (and down payment if required) and applies it to your Sprint bill. It has to be made using a major credit card. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  16. Fun fact, one of the Band 41 sites I connected to today was also the same one that broadcasted the first Indy LTE that was mapped on Sensorly so long ago. I have completed the Sprint LTE trifecta (25,26,41)! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  17. I will check the details Saturday when I return to work, but we have allowed promotional trade in gift cards to be applied towards device purchases in the past. I haven't seen anything regarding this promotion that states anything different. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Me. I work for Best Buy Mobile. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. You will be able to use the gift card toward the purchase of the device. Unless you are doing Easy Pay. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. New installs. I personally saw the install in Noblesville. None of the above mentioned route should have connected to the old protection site on this side of town. My name is Robert, but probably not the one you were looking for. ???? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. Did a little driving today. Picked up 41 at 126th and 37. Held it all the way until I got on 465. Judging by signal strength it was definitely 2 different towers, possibly 3. It was hard to dig into the details while driving. Just going off of info from the engineering screens. Definitely multiple serving cells. I can make some educated guesses about which sites based on knowledge of existing Sprint locations, but obviously not confirmed. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Maintaining your current plan is not an issue at Best Buy currently. The activation system currently allows continuation of legacy plans. You will definitely get the pitch for switching to a more modern plan with Easy Pay, but you are more than welcome to decline the switch. As with all retailers there are employees that are more competent than others. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. I have a feeling that Virgin is going away sometime in the not to distant future. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  24. For sale by me. Brand New 16GB Mophie Space Pack (iPhone 5/5s) http://t.co/ZxZ7Rxl8dK via @swappa

  25. Seems to be running at a lower power than the other 2 bands. Standing in the same spot about 1 block away with direct LOS of the site I am getting around 20-30 dBm weaker signal on 41. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
