  1. It's rolling out slowly. You'll be able to catch it at Westwood Village shopping center in West Seattle. The Sprint site in Startup as well as the Sprint site at Snowqualmie Pass are some other examples of 312-250 sites.

  3. No. In NSA mode you can only see LTE anchor information, and SA mmWave is not deployed.
  4. SE03312B has mmWave as well! No backhaul upgrade yet, though.
  5. Pretty much all T-Mobile new builds use a single 600/700 RRU and a single 1900/2100 RRU. If you get lowband, you get both 600 and 700. If you get midband, you get both 1900 and 2100. 2500 uses its own massive MIMO antenna, of course. While not having 1900/2100 fragmentation or 600/700 fragmentation is a a step in the right direction, T-Mobile isn't consistently adding lowband, midband and highband to sites. With the imminent influx of Sprint users to their network, I don't doubt they're going that route in major metros, but less busy areas are not getting the same treatment.
  6. Perhaps in New York; in the rest of the country (especially outside major metros) they continue to only deploy as needed. Across the country, there have been many instances of sites getting 2500 panels without 600 and vice versa.
  7. This is exactly how I feel about the Sprint team in Seattle. T-Mobile has an internal model they use to predict usage trends/growth, and they use that model to prioritize their network buildout. If Shentel coverage areas don't have relatively high usage compared to other areas within that market, that part of the network will likely be neglected.
  8. Some network updates in downtown Bellevue: SE03312B on top of Greg's Bicycle is broadcasting 2500. This will be a huge capacity boost for T-Mobile around Lincoln Square/Bellevue Square Mall. New build SE03939D on top of Centre 425 is also live with everything except 2500 (as the permits for this site were submitted before the merger). New build SE03338I on top of the North Civica building has been built (similarly with everything except 2500) and is currently undergoing call testing. OA is expected late this month.
  9. Nice. Any site you find 312-250 on is a Sprint "keep" site. 311-490/310-120 won't connect without a loss of signal, and those sites will eventually be decommissioned in favor of an existing T-Mobile site.
  10. The iPhone 12 Pro feels noticeably better than previous intel phones at the edge of cell. The performance on LTE is pretty comparable in strong signal areas.
  11. I got my iPhone 12 Pro yesterday. The alpha tag reads Sprint but the phone uses T-Mobile NR/LTE primarily, falling back to Sprint LTE where T-Mobile is unavailable. The phone only supports NSA right now, and you can only see LTE anchor information in Field Test. I haven't connected to any legacy 3G networks yet, so I'm not sure what the behavior will be with those. In settings, you are only able to disable 5G - it isn't possible to disable LTE.
  12. First post on NR with my new iPhone 12 Pro! I sadly can't see any NR info in Field Test because I'm connected to NSA. I wonder how long it will be before the iPhone supports SA NR...
  13. To expand on this very brief answer I typed in 5 seconds... T-Mobile has begun to enable RMOCN on certain Sprint sites. These sites will broadcast the 312/250 MCC/MNC and T-Mobile users will be able to roam on them as if they were native sites. It is important to note that not all Sprint sites will have RMOCN enabled on them - only Sprint "keep" sites are receiving the software update. This is a stopgap solution while the team works to optimize inter-network handoff parameters and tonnage config.
  14. The 8T8R has 3 L2500 carriers (live at EARFCNs 41094, 41292 and 41490). The Nokia massive MIMO panel has 3 L2500 carriers (live at EARFCNs 39874, 40072, 40270), and NR is sitting in the middle. Redmond, WA.
  15. I came across my first Sprint/T-Mobile combined site today. You can take a look here here: https://imgur.com/a/J3y0xN9 You can see the T-Mobile quadband 8-port Commscope panel (for 600/700/1900/2100), the T-Mobile massive MIMO Nokia panel (for 2500), the Sprint dualband 8-port RFS panel (for 800/1900) and the Sprint Commscope 8T8R (for 2500).
  16. That would make sense, although in Seattle they generally run PCS/AWS through the same array and WCS on its own. I know the PCS/AWS diplexers they're using boast quite low insertion loss; maybe this loss is lower than the alternatives that split WCS from either PCS or AWS?
  17. They'll probably run: B12/B14 and B5 at 4x4 through the lowband ports via a 700/850 diplexer B2 and B66 at 4x4 through one of the mid/highband arrays via a PCS/AWS diplexer B30 at 4x4 though the other mid/highband array

  19. I think ROAMAHOME got added to my line this morning because I have only been able to connect to T-Mobile all day. I've restarted my phone multiple times and toggled airplane mode to no avail. I also don't seem to be able to roam on Sprint LTE where T-Mobile is unavailable. I've dropped 5 calls so far and counting .
  20. Nice find! I'm unsurprised that n41 is going up on that site given T-Mobile has already deployed massive MIMO midband panels there. I'll try to stop by tomorrow as well!
