  1. Do you have the new updated PRL with channel 487 on 800SMR?

They turned off our few sites that with 800SMR as well. I can still see them on the spectrum analyzer but you can't connect to any of them. One of my lines on the other side of town also notified me that she's back to roaming when she's at work. So there's a case of it's now costing them money since they turned it off. I for one am glad they turned it off for now here as they only had a couple sites lit up and it caused more problems that it fixed. Leave it off until they get around to the other 800 capable sites.

I still have Shentel 800 running on channel 476. No issues yet. Works fine.

If you lost 800 in Sprint territory in Washington, DC, but then move into Shentel territory, you probably have to do a PRL update to make the phone scan in Shentel territory.

I've been running digiblurs 512 prl and I'm not getting anything. I'll flash again and report back

Edit: signal check must be the issue. Went to the debug screen and I'm on 476 but signal check isn't reporting it. Thanks for the replies

  2. For the last couple of weeks I haven't been getting notifications for the Network Vision Site Acceptance Report Updates thread even though it still shows I'm following.  It's the same on the website and on Tapatalk 4.

Is anyone else having this same problem?  I'll probably try to Unfollow then Follow again to see if that helps, just wondering if it's more widespread than just me.

Yeah I have this problem too. Not such a big deal but it exists

  3. Yes, CA is the only way you can get the benefits of 10MHz without shutting down the people with Band 25 only devices from accessing the G block LTE carrier.

So would Sprint actually do this? I feel they should since there is a drop off in speed when leaving 2600 coverage and this would help their indoor speed and image against vzw and att. My two cents

  4.

nothing "launched" but I've seen work being done on clearwire sites in the dc area. We are a WiMAX market.

I live in the DC area. So they're working on LTE on the clearwire sites?

yes I've seen workers on a few clearwire sites around here. One site it looked like the antennas were unplugged then the next day and brand new RRU was up there. I'm assuming it was dual mode LTE/WiMAX

  5. I find that most stealth sites just look silly. The fake pine and palm trees are really ridiculous when you have this lone palm tree sticking 150 feet above the rest of the tree line with proportionately stubby leaves compared to its size. The flag pole sites I have seen are so thick with comically massive flags to attempt to blend in with their size. Personally, I like nice monopole tower. I am a tech guy to the core so when I see a high tech looking panel with fiber optic cables running down it makes me feel warm inside.

Are you sure it isn't the radiation making you feel warm inside lol. But I like the monopole look as well, helps to be able to clearly identify carriers.
