Ok. Thank you!

Go to the 5X thread and get the correct item numbers as the "Original" M9 SIM card does not work in the MXP/5X/6P. The MXP SIM does work in the M9 and of course the 5X and 6P.

Probably has to do with the US Cellular roaming agreement but who knows.Same on my iPhone 6. Seems crazy to have a big jump like that.

I'm in KC. Great market.
Consider myself a heavy user. Never charge overnight anymore. Just about 30-45 minutes per day.
Considering wifi doesn't seem to sleep like it should AND as you can see from my screen shot, it's always active and eating up a good chunk of battery, I'm just going to start turning if off, toggling it off. I live in a great market as well and if the phone won't conserve when not connected or when the device is awake, I guess I'll have to just not be lazy about actively turning it off.

I'm not sure what you mean by only getting half of what I have, I never said what my screen time was but it sounds like we're about the same.I only manage about 3-3 1/2 hours of on screen time. How am I almost half of what your getting?
I mean, maybe the app usage number us correct but I never had ever seen this number so low before coming to 6P which if course coincided with my first usage if Android M.

Use GSam battery monitor. That seems to do a better job with calculating battery than Android's default battery stats program.
GSam is still acting funky with app usage as well. Not sure what it is about but I know at the end of the day when it's telling me my apps only used 5% of my battery, something is definitely not right. :-D I have emailed the dev's about it but no response and no idea if it's just a M bug or an issue with our devices.
The average screen time and battery life numbers look good and the detailed battery usage looks good as well.

Yeah, maybe something is keeping it awake but Idk.... This could also be a case of me being used to not using a Nexus device as a primary and HTC having additional "sleep" settings in battery settings. That really puts connections to sleep.I see what you mean. In that case, there's one more question. When you leave WiFi on, do you leave push email, hangouts and notifications enabled? Because if yes, then your phone will need a data connection active. If you disable Wi-Fi, then you're forcing all data to go over LTE. That's why Google Team tells you it's something else. You're trying to stop the flow by building a dam, but you really need to turn things off at the source.

Are you suggesting that being connected to distant LTE tower for data takes up less battery than a Wi-Fi spot a few feet away? I don't buy it. Sending any kind of signal over greater distance will require more power. I'm siding with Google here.
1 less radio on, especially when the phone is sleep, should and usually does save battery on my devices. My wifi signal is great when I'm home and generally where ever I am but if I don't need wifi on, there is no reason to. I have been meaning to do a couple tests I usually try with the device fully charged and left overnight one night on wifi and one night on LTE just to see. I've been busy and not able to do it but usually my devices are better with no wifi radio active.
Regardless of if I'm right or wrong, the device isn't doing what it's supposed to do.
The Nexus help folks suggested I run in safe mode to rule out 3rd party apps so I'll try that when I can as well.

We brought this up in the beta/preview but the Google engineers always defended themselves and blamed other factors such as the phone or needing a fresh install, etc. It was kind of sad to see their pushback.
Well dang, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work... that sucks. I'll keep bringing it up in the forum over there I guess. It is really annoying.
Thanks for the relpy

I always set my devices wifi advance setting to turn off wifi during sleep UNLESS plugged in. I have noticed that wifi will stay on regardless on my Nexus 6P. I have wifi scanning off and location services and no apps that could be automatically forcing it to stay on. I think it may be a bug but wanted to find out what others are experiencing.
I did post this in the Google Nexus forum/help community but I figured I'd bring it up in here as I don't think I'm alone but could be...
Thanks

AJ just answered that last page: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/7133-huawei-nexus-6p-was-rumor-huawei-nexus-phone/?p=454860
With the 5X, but the software is the same with the 6P. It was a very major issue with the N6 and continues to be. 5X and maybe 6P have fixed it.
Oh, hmmmm, I didn't actually know that was what he we referring to but if that was the issue with the 6, that's great that it's fixed. I guess I didn't realize the Nexus 6 issue that was being referred to was a e/CSFB issue.
Thanks

So... I saw a weird post (on Sprint's about not being able to take calls while on Wifi AND connected to LTE. They said it was a "big deal" with the Nexus 6 last year. Admittedly, I didn't look at the 6 from last year but I think I would have heard a pretty big fuss about it if it was an issue now.
Do any of you know of that "old" issue and if it's still an issue. I just want to reply back to the user as it sounds really strange to me.
Thanks!

Not going to belabor this in this thread, but 1) if Sprint and Apple have it working on the iphone, then there is no reason that they can't figure this out for BYOD like Nexus phones and 2) the GV integration is sloppy even when you've made your Sprint number your GV number, between the dialer and the handling of text MMS and group messages (though this is getting better), having just a toggle to turn it on for your native number is much easier on all end users. (but I get it, it's a Nexus, so one should be Savvy enough to overcome this)
I use it and don't integrate, you don't have to do that just to use it. What I have is a GV number and when I want to use Hangouts to make calls, it just comes from my GV number instead of my "real" Sprint number. Granted, you'll have to integrate if you want 1 number as both GV and Sprint but it's not a requirement to make this work.
Admittedly, I usually only use wifi calling or Hangouts for outgoing calls so your use may be very different but this "Is" the solution at hand, in your hand, that you can use to simulate WiFi calling.
As for them making it work on iPhone well, the iPhone isn't really in the same category as the Nexus is it? It's not Unlocked, it can't be taken to any carrier AND furthermore, Sprint has pretty much nothing to do with the dev of the device specs. Now, I could be wrong, but this is how I understand it AND how it not having Sprint WiFi calling on board makes sense.
FYI, you could sideload it on the N6. I wouldn't see why you couldn't do it on the 6P as well.
Thanks!

Thanks for that update! Now my issue is down to lack of WiFi calling, which isn't an easy fix, unfortunately. (well, as far as we know, maybe Sprint's working on it?)
Use Hangouts Dialer + Google Voice, it's everyone's WiFi calling solution. I highly doubt Sprint is working on integration of our "Sprint" wifi calling solution (which from what I understand is a non-standard implementation) on this "Google" device. It's not a "Sprint" phone, it just happens to work quite well on the network. I don't think we'll ever see Sprint Zone app either... it's actually a useful tool now but we'll survive without it.

In case you folks didn't see it http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/11/04/a-google-engineer-who-works-on-usb-type-c-products-is-reviewing-and-identifying-out-of-spec-potentially-dangerous-third-party-cables-and-adapters/
I'm sure the OPO cable is good as are others but something to be mindful of when picking cables up.

Do you really think its a problem with my phone?
If you have hard reset it and it continues to boot loop, what else could it be? Are you loading ANY apps on the device before it starts to reboot on it's own like that?

Did you read the thread referenced for activation/SIM info?I'm having a hard time getting the phone activated with Sprint mostly due to lack of extra nano-SIms. My question is this: Can I remove the nano-sim from my HTC M8, place it in the Nexus 6p and go through sprint activation process?
Is there a reason why did wouldn't work? Is there something special about the nano-sim that goes into the Nexus? I've called 5 stores and most don't have it in stock while one of them might have some tomorrow.

Guessing you haven't read any of the NM threads. We haven't gotten that kind of love yet.
Was going to click the "Like" button but I don't like it.... was looking for the "Sorry" button but it seems to have gone missing.

Are you able to get phone calls while connected to B41 and WiFi at the same time? (As in your serving network is B41, checked with SignalCheck, etc.)
Did I miss an issue somewhere? What's this about?
Sorry about that double post... thought the forum would combine.

I can't help you with that since NM haven't been connected with B41 yet.

Ha-ha. That's all there is. Sorry to disappoint.

Disappoint barely begins to describe... that is a motherfnshame. How are we suppose do dev with the dev device if dev device isn't giving up the goods??!??! That looks even worse than the MXP.
Thanks for sharing though.

SCP Feature Request:
Ability to hide BSL in expandable notifications, especially when user notes are available.
Thanks!
Just to be clear as a bell for Mike (at first glance) the "Hide BSL With User Notes" option is only being applied to the SCP display screen and NOT respected in the notifications. Could be a bug, could be new feature, we'll let Mike decide. :-D

Anyone know what's causing this? Happening every day and I have to reboot to get LTE data back.
Sent from my M8
Yeah. Every day, gotta reboot or LTE data doesn't come back.
Sent from my M8
Did this just start happening on Wed? I noticed the same thing on my M9 and have a friend with M9 experiencing the same thing out of nowhere. Now that I think about it, buddy with M8 having same exact issue.
No clue what is going on but it's pretty annoying.

I wonder if his carrier config just didn't get applied and that's why the Spark icon is gone. I had another user tell me it was gone as well on a stock phone.
