  1. Not Sprint related, but look what was found on top of a T-Mobile tower. As if being a tower climber wasn't dangerous enough.
  2. It's quite perplexing, but I'm sure Sprint has its reasons. Maybe it has something to do with the old Wifi set up still being available
  3. Big and easy push or big and easy way to cram customer bills? It's bad enough that anytime I would purchase a phone thru Sprint, I would walk out with phone insurance after specifically telling store reps not to add it.
  4. It was my understanding that changes to the TDD ratio would be done nationwide simultaneously. I guess that may have changed.
  5. Dual SIM adapters have never played nice with CDMA networks. Doubt you'll get it working tbh.
  6. That's fine. It's only a mild annoyance that has gotten easier to circumvent ever since Google allowed the notification bar to be pulled down from the finger print sensor.
  7. An NC-17 film? I hope access to this is by log-in and not IP based. This has the potential to backfire with over-protective parents.
  8. At this point, Sprint has fallen so far behind in Macro site density to T-Mobile that it's not even a fair fight anymore. T-Mobile has added 3 macro sites in my immediate area alone. Their original network was already more dense than Sprint, so this recent addition to their network is putting not just Sprint to shame, but Verizon as well. Sadly, one of their new setups is an abandoned Nextel site that would be a perfect fit for Sprint. Overland Park is rolling the dice on this one and hoping Mobilitie gets past the local municipality issues with ROW access. Dangerous move, but it has the potential to pay off big time if permits are awarded and deployment goes full speed. Time will tell, I guess (unless a merger gets in the way).
  9. I don't know if this has been discussed in the past or not, but is there anyway to force two status bar icons at the same time (for LTE) on the current version? I know we have the option to choose Network Type, Signal Strength, or Network type+Signal Strength. I usually go for the Network Type+Signal Strength icon, but B25 and B26 look awfully similar at a quick glance on that option. Having the option to display both the larger LTE Type and Signal Strength icons simultaneously would be awesome for my eyes and while driving.
  10. Any call lag due to congestion or latency? This was always a problem for me when using Sprint's Wi-Fi calling.
  11. As far as I can tell, no new Sprint stores have opened up in Texas after their Texas expansion announcement back in April.
  12. You can bet Dish is speaking to both. They need the infrastructure to deploy their spectrum and are probably trying to diversify their portfolio now that cable TV is dying. I also wouldn't rule out foreign investors.
  13. That's quite sad. Movistar was once the "T-Mobile" of Mexico with their cheap rates and rapid growth. Today, it's become the "cheap" network due to their reliability issues and fierce competition matching their prices. The Carlos Slim cartel wins once again.
  14. Except that the multi-billion dollar company is in debt, needs to make capital expenditures, has laid-off people and has high interest payments due. Also, the bigger multi-billion company that owns the majority of Sprint can't invest any more money into Sprint without setting off a series of finacial events that make no sense for them. Companies make risky investments all the time. But when you're in debt and are too broke to make capital expenditures, making risky investments is the last thing you should be doing.
  15. Sprint has been struggling with massive debt, they've cut jobs and costs across the board, and they've neutered their CAPEX down to a fraction of what it should be. All this done in the name of penny pinching. Now tell me, how is a $200 million investment in a failing music streaming service a "drop in the bucket"? I'm all for moving on, but let's not try to apologize on behalf of Sprint for a terrible move. Let's call this purchase for what it truly is thus far; a huge waste of money.
  16. I'm all for dropping the subject, but to say it is a "drop in the bucket" is a flat out lie.
  17. Unfortunately, I don't think the Moto X ever got LTE roaming support from Sprint. The Nexus/Pixel were the same way but an update solved that issue for users. Also, are you sure that was the PLMN that you saw on LTE?? Because 334-05 belongs to Unefon, which is the prepaid arm of Iusacell, which is now owned by At&t MX. The PLMN I usually see on my Sprint iPhone down there is 334-03 (oddly enough, only Androids show the network name for Movistar, iPhones only show PLMN).
  18. LTE from Pegaso? It's still Movistar. Stuff like that happens a lot in Mexico. Don't know why they don't care to update the PLMs. For example, in central Mexico my phone scans would reveal two names for one network. Iusacell and 334-050 (which is Unefon...The prepaid branch of Iusacell). Now that At&t owns both of them, it's even more confusing with NEXTEL showing up. At&t literally shows up under four different network names.
  19. You complain of his long posts, yet here we are ironically clogging up space talking about it. Your constant complaining of him is bordering personal attack. If there was no way to avoid his posts, then I would feel for you. Fortunately, this site offers just what you need. I've offered two simple solutions. You can either take them or leave them. But one thing I do ask is that we drop the constant complaints that single out one user. So if you don't mind, I'd like to drop this and get back to topic.
  20. Your complaining of Arysyn and his writing style is getting just as annoying as his posts. We get it, you don't like his posting style. But I have a two simple solutions for you. Either scroll past his posts or use the block feature of the site. Problem solved.
  21. Wow, I didn't realize Sprint added Telcel as a partner. Telcel has the best coverage in Mexico and is also the most reliable. This should really help to maximize user experience.
  22. A few screenshots of the menu would be appreciated.
  23. As mentioned earlier, Pegaso is Movistar. When Movistar started out, they bought a bunch of regional carriers to start out their national network expansion. Pegaso was one of those regional carriers that used to service Northern Mexico.
