  1. I was in Wal-Mart Sunday in Durham, NC and just happened to look out of curiosity. Their Sprint handset line-up was pretty ragged and, unfortunately, no new Evo 4G LTE's. I'll have to call a couple others around to see if any are floating around.
  2. I agree. Another thing to consider is that Sprint has said that it will only support Wi-Max through 2015. If it keeps sending out new devices with Wi-Max it just makes it more difficult to turn off the network in the future. Network Vision is about upgrading Sprint's network to be top-tier and about reducing their nightmarish maintenance costs. To make NV successful AND to realize the full cost benefits I think they have to make a clean break with Wi-Max. Of course, I live in an area where there is no Wi-Max service, so I care a lot less about it than others might.
  3. Maybe we can talk him into donating some money!

    GS3 and 4G LTE

Robert put some info about upcoming devices in this post: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-170-new-flagship-4g-lte-device-in-sprint-lenexa-labs-for-testing/ As you can see in the screenshot, Sprint's internal lab schedules show that the next two devices (which are still undisclosed at this time) won't be finished with Sprint lab testing until mid-August. Launch date for the data card is 9/16 and smartphone launch date is TDB. A rumored June date for the Sprint GS3 just doesn't seem likely.

    GS3 and 4G LTE

Well, since neither Sprint or Samsung have announced when the GS3 will be coming to Sprint, I think you have some time to make that decision. From other threads around here it seems that it will be fall at the earliest, maybe later. You have some time to think about it for sure. By then your upgrade buyout would be less and there could be other devices that might be coming soon.
