  1. I am so impressed with how fast they have deployed first band 12 then band 71. That's why I want the merger to succeed. Those boys know how to get shyte done!

I believe if Sprint had more money like vzw money they would not only have better coverage but, have gotten in on 600 mhz also. I don't by that they actually think they don't need any more lowband BW which is why they want the Merger.

  2. I have no doubt Sprint will restrict devices in the same way AT&T does when it comes to VoLTE use. Sprint is by far the most restrictive carrier when it comes to devices, even if it is a fully compatible device...
I got the update on my S8 I'm on Boost so at first the VOLTE option was blocked once I restarted my phone the option disappeared. So only ( as of now) boost customers can't talk and surf. My phone can do it on all other carriers including att just H+

  3. It's discouraging, but it would makes sense. They've gone a few years without spending any meaningful money. So what's another year? Makes absolutely no sense to waste money on your network if you're confident the merger will go through.
Yeah but, they need to spend in case there is a surprise and, the Merger Fails cause there's that possibility.

    Dear Valued Sprint Customer,

Our records indicate your account is using Calling PLUS, a service that combines Sprint's LTE Calling (Beta) with Wi-Fi Calling to enable simultaneous voice and data usage during a call. Due to recent network upgrades, we are formally notifying you that LTE Calling (Beta) will be decommissioned via a system update that will be sent to your device/s beginning September 29th, 2018.

Here are your options for the system update:
    • Accept the system update – it will permanently remove LTE Calling (Beta) from your device. Wi-Fi Calling service will continue to allow your device to make and receive calls over an available Wi-Fi connection.
    • Disregard the system update – LTE Calling (Beta) service will remain active. You will be unable to take advantage of the network optimizations until you accept the system update.
We encourage you to contact your Sprint Business Support Representative below to ask questions or share any concerns you may have. Thank you for the opportunity to be your wireless provider.

    Sincerely,

    Sprint Business
Does this mean VOLTE will be live on the 29th?

  5. For starters.. from knowing areas well Sprint need at least 12 co locations to begin with.. lucky TMO and Verizon already have ton of sites for Sprint to do so

Once Sprint does keep VOLTE up and running and all phones are using it, I hope this means they can use other carriers Volte and other carriers can use Sprint volte.
