Sprint is Getting Ready for the Big Game and 5G in Atlanta
https://newsroom.sprint.com/sprint-is-getting-ready-for-big-game-and-5g-in-atlanta.htm
Pretty great info in this Blog Post! Sprint's going to be in great shape for the game.
They said the same thing this year about small cells in mpls for the super bowl here. Yet I only saw like one. They also claimed they added it at the same time to the local zoo yet my phone was on 3G alot there.

Is Dover an unannounced VoLTE soft launch area yet?
Are you seeing VOLTE there?
-
Still no VOLTE for the S9 yet? It works great on my S8.

Is it easier to call customer service than post here?I need a Sprint employee to fill out a SWAC convert form for me. My friend at first wasn't sure how and now is dragging his feet. I really would like to get this taken care of ASAP, this bill for 4 lines is killing me.

Seattle?15x15 PCS LTE went live market-wide this morning at 11:00 AM [emoji4].

Is that the only 20x20 in Duluth? TMobile is 10x10 B2 and 4x4. Looks like they're also deploying B71 not sure what the current BW is. Vzw is 15x15 B4, 5x5 B2 10x10 B13 and also got 10x10 66 not sure if they deployed that yetAT&T widened their AWS from a 10x10 MHz channel (EARFCN 2100/66586) to a 20x20 MHz channel (EARFCN 2050/66536) after what I would guess is acquiring the A block license from Nsight in Duluth, MN. This happened Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

I have question about this. Why if your getting Sprint 1x800 can you not get Sprint LTE then?I haven't seen anything, but I also haven't been actively looking either. I've got a few spots out by Portland that should be covered by T-Mobile Roaming, but I still just lose service.

Yep I know all thatThey will only be adding TMO bands to the 10,000 Sprint sites that they will end up keeping.

TMobile CEO said that all Sprint bands will be added to TMO towers with PC's being the easiest, so at some point B26 will added for LTE and some B41 for LTE. TMO bands added to Sprint sites alsoIf they migrate all customers to PCS and AWS they better have a state of the art small cell network in every city since that is what Verizon did with their PCS and AWS holdings here in New York City and congestion is a thing of the past. This merger is the most idiotic decision in the history of the business, especially when the 5G era is about to begin and Sprint was going to have the upper hand.

Since the Merger is going to pass I don't see that happening giving TMobile has 15x15 and 20x20 in alot of areas and areas that don't have it can with the mix of t- SprintThat is incorrect.

41+41 UL CA is already live almost nationwide. 25+25 UL CA is possible although it isn’t live today. 25+41 is a bit trickier although we may see it at some point down the road...
There is also no devices that support B25+25 upload CA. There are devices that support 25+41 and 26+41 only for download.

Hopefully we’ll see some PCS spectrum swapping between T-Mobile and Sprint in other major markets.
Chicago, St. Louis, LA, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston and the rest of Massachusetts are all possible...
Where are you getting that from? Non of those markets can do a swap
-
Yeah but lease means you have to return it at some point which makes no since when there going for contiguous spectrumBecause it is a lease…

While some are know it alls. Everyone else that say this though the same thing, that the were going to start using some of each other's spectrum. If it just a swap why write a article like that and call it a lease? The spectrum getting swapped is not worth $533M to lease. Something else is going on with the leases.Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I can see why TMO wants it. Look at Wisconsin Dells for example. TMO LTE runs off one carrier B4. No B12, only 5x5 PC's which is used on older tech and B71 isn't cleared there.Yeah, at this point the merger looks to be a question of when, not if. There are *still* a number of places around here where T-Mobile feels like they're waiting on a merger to get decent service, unless they've done something absolutely amazing with 600 in those areas.
But, as stated, T-Mobile's ISP ambitions are all about that 2.5 GHz spectrum...which Sprint has. Chuck some 5G Massive MIMO antennas on one end of the connection and a 256x64QAM HPUE outdoor CPE on the other side and all you'll be competing with is fiber, cable, or other carriers' 5G. Sell for $50/mo and you aren't even competing with cable at this point. And yes, this would work swimmingly with Dish's installer network (and with a triple play of either IPTV or satellite).

It also does not say anything about PCS swaps. Not sure why your are always so rudeAre you reading the same article I am? None of what you are saying is in the article. I think you are bringing in personal speculation or that of others that you have been reading.Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Your saying the pcs swaps doesn't have anything to do with the 533M thing?Well this has nothing to do with the reciprocal $533M spectrum leads then. Just your green variety spectrum swap. I know that I might be harping on this too much but is there some thought of simplifying their spectrum holding at some point after the merger?Let's see, they will have holdings in the 600MHz, 700MHz, 800MHz, AWS-1, AWS-3, PCS+G, and 2.5GHz bands + CBRS next year. Lot of antennas on the combined sites. I'd be horse trading like crazy.

So in other words that article is miss leading and getting people's hopes up. The article that I posted made it look like they were going to use each other's spectrum. The swap doesn't affect your area so I'm not sure what you're getting at.
