  1. It looks like you didn't grant SignalCheck the Location permission it would have requested. If you permanently declined it, go to your device's Settings menu and selecting Apps > SignalCheck Pro > Permissions and granting it there. All 3 of the requested permissions (Phone, Location, Storage) needed to be granted for full app functionality.

I just looked at all that and, it still didn't work. [emoji50]

  2. You'll get the stable version when it's out, otherwise you can always just wipe and flash the stock unlocked software through Samsung Smart Switch or whatever it's called now. RE Signalcheck data: mine is fine on the Beta 4 on my Sprint S9+. All my extra information is still there. Perhaps reprovision your data (if that works on unlocked model)?

EDIT: you can always just leave the Samsung 9 Beta and flash back the stable software at any time. It does factory reset your phone though.
I have no clue how to do that.

  3. My wife has a Google Pixel XL (original) that Is activated on Sprint.  When we received our Google Fi SIM cards, I inserted the SIM and tried to activate the phone on Fi.  It was unsuccessful.  Code # D003 or D0003. The First rep checked and said the Pixel had to be unlocked from Sprint.

The following day Sprint sent an unlock signal (not sure how that works) and it was unsuccessful.  The Fi SIM was still in the phone.  Later that evening I put the Sprint SIM back in and since that time Sprint has sent several unlock signals to the phone, all unsuccessful.

Sprint is still trying to send unlock signals.  The phone is powered on, with the Sprint SIM installed.  She can currently send/receive calls/texts/data.

I am trying to figure out why the unlock signals are all failing.

Anyone run into this issue or possibly shed some light on what we can do to get it unlocked from Sprint? Would greatly appreciate any help.

  4. It's quite stable, go ahead a pull the trigger, you are a daring fella. There are only a few oddities, like my photo issue from above. A big one for folks has been calling on Sprint network using the Calling Plus LTE Calling features. Where the call connects but neither side can hear anything, just dead air. My WiFi Calling can be a bit spotty too. This is reportedly solved in the Beta 4, but I haven't had a chance to test it out much yet. Others have  reported mobile data loss, but that can be recovered with a reprovisioning of the Sprint parameters ##SCRTN# from the dialer IF you run into this issue, don't need to do it if you don't.

I don't have calling plus on my S9 cause it's the unlocked model

  5. Photos saved on an SD card or internal?
I don't have access to my photos right now. I had the S8 which crapped out so I can't access it. I bought it to CPR to get my stuff to my new S9 plus.

  6. You can't, it's almost over.
My Google Photos won't backup and sync on Beta 4. Serious problem for me. I've tried all I can think of short of a full factory reset, which I'm not inclined to do as I'm betting it'll still not work after that.
I find it. I signed up last night and got it9918308d744c6feaada158eea93ccc74.jpg

  7. Yep, that is quite common in Chambersburg. Not sure it is all sites, but it probably is except when you get out in the rural country.

I saw this same exact configuration a few days ago and there was a bunch of sites in my SCP neighbor site list that all appeared to have the new 8615 earfcn 15X15 band 25 carrier. A 10x10 band 25 carrier in the ""A" block has been active for a long time(EARFCN 8140) I still have to prove that we have aggregation between the 8140 and 8615 carriers for 25X25. Band 41 has been there for a long time.

Shentel is doing some great work.  It does worry me that T-Mobile is getting involved.  When you have a system that is working very well, I hate to turn it over to somebody that COULD cause some issues.

TMobile owns 10x10 C Block so that would allow that carrier to go 20x20.

  8. I don't think Sprint is aggregating Band 25 and Band 26 anywhere currently. Also to activate WiFi calling you have to go into the dialer settings. It's at the bottom.

Actually someone did find it in California. Which dialer setting is it?

  9. I live in Central Atlanta and though I don't have volte on my Galaxy S9+ I do have calling plus and I absolutely cannot stand it. CDMA has much further range and never drops and is completely clear. VoLTE depends (obviously) on an extremely robust LTE network which - even in Atlanta - just doesn't exist. Yes it's a strong LTE showing for Sprint here but look at my words. It's really good but it is not what I would call "extremely robust." I cannot see any advantage to using it and am quick to toggle calling plus off anytime I accidentally toggle it on.
I have it on my S8. It's sounds amazing and the calls go thru faster than CDMA. I love it
