  1. I just saw the NV Sites Complete map as it was updated today. It looks like the 3G portion of NV was complete on the site near the MillerCoors building downtown. If that goes live with 4G soon i will be able to test it out!
  2. Nice! Keep us updated. I know I had trouble connecting in Tampa. Did you update your profile and PRL?

    LG Optimus G Pro

Looks like this device is going to be an AT&T Exclusive.
  4. I had the lite version but was unaware the Pro version had the notification icons. Sweet, its sooo awesome!
  5. Which app do you use to get the LTE and 1XRTT DB levels in your notification bar? Thats exactly what im looking for!
  6. So the 3 new towers are not broadcasting LTE as of yet, correct?
  7. Lake Mills / Fort Atkinson area. It looks like no 800 yet. Do we know if 800 is deployed right away or do they add it at a later time?
  8. According to the map these are between Madison and Milwaukee. Hopefully in the next couple weeks we will see some towers being accepted closer to the Milwaukee Metro Area.
  9. WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is going to be the first with an LTE screenshot?
  10. Same here. Trying to appease my appetite for Sprint NV knowledge for my market. I've thought about it, but really can't come to a solution that makes perfect sense. The Chicago market is pretty much done, so it's not a resource issue. Back haul maybe? AT&T has been jerking us around at work with contract stuff and my employer is not happy about the length of time for deployment of a new fiber line. I don't know man...it's like the cell phone gods are intentionally trying to screw us! I know in the end that the wait will be worth it. In the mean time....I'm waiting for a triband device as my contract is up...
  11. If this is accurate, I really hope when they start work they have enough resources to get it done fast. AT&T, Verizon, and even US Cellular have LTE here for Pete's sake! So frustrating...better light up 800 right away too!
  12. I'm looking forward to hearing from that Samsung guy. Being a Sprint customer in the Milwaukee market is very frustrating...
  13. During peak times data speeds are pretty terrible. Off peak i usually get 500kbps. They definately skipped miller park. Rediculous.
  14. So how does Sprint handle Stadiums and Arena's for coverage? Do they add more carriers/panels on the towers closest to these venue's?
  15. Thanks for the update Robert! Atleast we have something to look forward to next month. Should be an interesting summer.
  16. I would assume the data disconnects are all related to NV. Other than terrible data speeds i have not had disconnect issues at all in my 8 years of having Sprint service in the MKE area.
  17. Does anyone have an update on the Sprint HD Voice strategy? Do any of the new phones such as the GS4 and HTC One have HD Voice capability? I just saw an article saying Verizon is working on HD Voice cross-carrier technology.
  18. I would take that with a grain of salt. You will most likely find that there is more info on this site about upgrades than any rep knows about. I just want 800 coverage and LTE data so i can actually use apps without waiting, buffering, freezing, or failing to load.
  19. I watched the Chicago thread when they were receiving upgrades and network issues are common place with tower upgrades. I have been seeing some inconsistency as well with my signal where i would normally not have a problem. The issues i have been having could be from work being done to the towers. Time will tell. Lets hope we see our first tower come online with LTE...soon.

    X Phone

If Google leaves Sprint out in the dust on the X phone i'm going to be pissed.
  21. So i saw an article awhile back about the top 10 worst markets for Cell phone coverage. Milwaukee was in the top 10. I'm curious if this will be a good reason for Sprint to put 800 coverage into effect right away as the towers come online with NV.
  22. There is an MLB At Bat app and MLB At the Park app that allow you to see recent plays, scores, pitch counts, and stream the gameday audio to hear Uecker that are available. Too bad it doesnt work at Miller Park. You get a strong signal but absolutely no bandwidth. I was at the game the other day and texts were not even going through.
  23. That is what i have been thinking. I'm guessing 1 or 2 crews are currently active in the area with the ramp up starting mid to late summer. It would be nice to have LTE or hell just decent 3G for Summerfest, at Miller Park, and the Wisconsin State Fair this summer. Crossing my fingers.
  24. I saw this last week when i drove by Bayshore mall. Clearly can see new panels on the tower. I flipped airplane mode hoping i would catch some LTE but my luck is obviously not that great. When im over in Whitefish Bay again i will try and grab some photos and test airplane mode again. We should be seeing our first LTE in the area "soon".
