  1. I have a skinomi tempered glass that covers almost the full screen, leaves a bit on the sides for certain styles of case. I got mine in space crystal (was either this or gunmetal, but decided to not double up...) and I love it. This is my go to case since I got my first on my n5, protects well but doesn't add much bulk. Obviously not for those who need Max protection, but I rarely ever have a need for a case (mainly pocket protection tbh) so they're perfect.
  2. Rf has definitely taken a hit on this update. Even then it's still not bad, it room a cross state trip for me to notice, and even with performance decreasing I still held at least 1x in areas I used to roam in on my n5 (granted there is a new tower in the area...). Other than that I got a tempered glass screen protector, neo hybrid ultra, and a quick charge 2.0 brick (45-50 minutes from 0-100%, loving it immensely). Also flashed over to bad boyz rom for the update, after I s-off'd.
  3. Go check the m9 thread, I won't clutter this thread up but that's not the impressions of our members.
  4. In case anyone else failed to notice, s-off is now available through sunshine as of yesterday! I'll be commencing with s-offing in a few minutes.
  5. Maybe you got a dud, mine holds onto LTE as good as my n5 with the 1.15 radio that over inflated db readings. I pick up b41 in places now at ~ -95db strength where I couldn't get it on LTE without it being forced, same goes for the other bands. I haven't seen 3g since I picked up my m9, and I used to have to toggle it 15-20 times a day with my n5. These observations are from the KC area, will be taking a trip back to STL (for life in color) next weekend so I'll update how it fairs there, my home is notorious for shitty signal for all the carriers.
  6. I'm modified as much as I can be without s-off and xposed already...and I haven't had the poor battery/overheating issues that the general user base have been experiencing so I've been putting off using the rru. I wanted a n6 until I saw the size, m9 is just about the right size for me where as the n6 is too damn big for a phone IMO.
  7. Have you read the whole thread? Plus I don't think there are many of us in here so far.....it's by far the best device out so far IMO. Sure there are better innovative ones (s6 edge), but total package wise this phone is the only one worth upgrading to right now IMO. I was set to pick up a new n5 and a couple extra batteries until I found my m9, and I don't regret snagging it.
  8. Crapatalk broken link >.>.
  9. Edit: links are apparently boned with the tapatalk in using. Check pages 4-6 of the thread.
  10. I knew competing networks had fanatics...but damn that's taking butthurt a little too far[emoji15]. In all seriousness though, hopefully no one got hurt.
  11. Oh of course, right after I break my ability to OTA [emoji58]...
  12. Not really, the best way to do it is to shower with the bathroom door closed and after you're done apply it while you're in there. The steam gets all the particles out of the air, then you just apply it like a normal screen protector. Wipe off the screen so its clean, pick an edge and try to line it up as best as you can using whatever technique you prefer to keep it from bubbling.
  13. My m9 came in this morning, after unlocking rooting and finally getting stuff set up (a lot easier thanks to the HTC transfer tool) I finally got to compare rf performance with my n5. The m9 holds LTE (around a -104 db strength on average for b25) in my 4th story room where my n5 would barely check for LTE then find b26 and drop it. I'm in KC so this is a matured market, when I get out to see some b41 I'll edit or update. Edit: M9 smokes the n5 in b41, easily 8-10 db better. I was on b41 in places I was lucky to get b25.
  14. There's no if, first thing I'm doing is unlocking and rooting (s-offing off too if its out by then..) XD. Right now going off Amazon there's only a 10 dollar difference from 32-64, although now I'm trying to decide on read/write speeds >.>...
  15. Mines supposed to be here Thursday. Trying to decide if I need an SD card, and how big...
  16. That's what I assumed based off the reasons you said. Thank you for clarifying.
  17. Does it stopped at each edge of the actual screen like most, or does it cover the full face of the phone? The pictures on amazon are of a 6/6+ xD.
  18. Well I'm joining this club in a few days. Anyone have a case and/or a tempered glass screen protector they'd recommend?
  19. When you get the chance can you compare the rf to other devices you have. No one else has yet and that's what's going to sway me to buy one outright or wait until December xD.
  20. I forget about the backup option because I only use export since I use my logs for more than just swapping devices.
  21. Apple fans have to have some unique feature that differentiates from android users from the past .
  22. Do not disturb Edit: auto correct double negative
  23. The export feature in the app, it dumps a copy of your logs to the signal check folder. You can then connect to a computer of your choice and drag and drop them where ever you so chose.
  24. Not a device issue, it's a Signal check issue with lollipop. Mike's working on it, for more info check the thread.
  25. That's correct, I relabeled and changed my path names to make it less confusing awhile back lol.
