  1. Its never happened to me before, and it happened in one of the areas that i have been driving around for years and it was the first time it happened there. That why i said it was weird.
  2. I have been getting these weird 3G problems where it will be uploading but not downloading at all. It will time out, the 3G will completely disappear then after some time come back and connect again.. It has happened downtown, on river, and by cortaro. Anyone else having these problems?
  3. I feel for you man.. Im always getting lousy speeds but at least i can use it from here, cortaro, down to speedway. I dont ever travel past that so i have not really tested the network down there. All i can say is please, PLEASE, HURRY UP WITH THE UPGRADES! Its needed.. BADLY!
  4. Yeah i have been having problems with wifi not connecting at all until i reset the router its only happened a few times but its really annoying. Also i hate that it kills the data connection all the time!
  5. Wow.. I feel so bad for the people with sprint in south tucson! I was down there taking care of somethings and my phone was useless! What is going on down there?? If I lived down there i would of trashed sprint fast.. I was down by Valencia Rd and I-19 when i got these PATHETIC speeds.
  6. So, do we have an ETA on when the one will get android 4.2? Or if we will get it?
  7. Nooo, im talking about CDMA 800. LTE will (hopefully) get to all cell sites soon.
  8. Where is the thread? I have tried some "get my MSL" apps but they keep failing.
  9. Can you adjust the amount of time it takes to search for signal in the engineering screen?
  10. Most of tucson is out of range of the border so i hope they would at least deploy it as much as they can in the northern part of tucson rather then skip it all together..
  11. I was dropping every call when sprint was having network proplems so they gave me this thing for free for 2 years. I guess what I was expecting it to, you know, work.. Anyway it's going back go sprint, I wouldn't recommend it.
  12. Yes, CDMA. It would be cool but im not sure we will be even getting it, being in tucson. -_-
  13. Its just not what i was expecting.. Calls didn't sound any better then when i was on the network and why would i ever be on the 1 or 2 Mbps "3G" when i can get 25+ Mbps on my wifi?? I don't see the point of ever needing this.
  14. Can the HTC one use 800?? Also, is there a map of all the iDEN towers? like the network vision map?
  15. I hate the thing, they gave it to me when there service problems but im giving it back to them. Looses calls when ever i leave the house and if the internet goes down then the whole thing belly up. Its a good concept but terrible application.
  16. I just wish it was quicker.. Im just waiting for that one day where i come on here and there is a big update with lots of areas getting built up. I see so many areas getting hundreds of towers getting updated then look at tucson/yuma and see maybe 3 or 4.. What gives??? By this rate im going to move away from this damn place before we ever get a sliver of LTE, sad.
  17. Ah, well that's stupid. Another question, is the HTC One MHL compatible? Im looking at getting a cable to hook it up to my tv and i was wondering if it was.
  18. I cant find any info on this, what i want to do is move my home screen in between two other screens. So what i do is get into the edit screen and i can add new panels and pick old ones up but when i try to set them in a different spot it goes right back to where it was before! help?
  19. This is by far the best phone i have ever had, im not in a 4g area but i have better 3g then ever. I used it all day on power saver but i had the screen on very bright and 15 hours later it was at 38%. Apps run quick, no lag in sense 5, everything is very snappy. I do have the case i got from costco on it and i dont really see that much of a difference when setting it down vs holding it. I will report back when LTE goes live so i can test that out as well
  20. Thats so weird, i got mine from Costco and it came with this gel type case, but if it affects the signal that much then im glad i got it O_o
  21. Few questions - how do i turn off the phone asking me to connect to a wi-fi network all the damn time. Also is their a way to play gifs on this thing?
  22. Yes, that's your phone ID. Its usually behind the battery but since there is no part to remove they just stick in on the back.
  23. Guess im just not getting it. It seems weird the way they are doing it but it must have a point. Back to the waiting game!
  24. I had a samsung epic 4g so going from that to the HTC one is very different! So its basically always searching for lte as long as its in CDMA/LTE mode
