I actually hate this! I will never be buying a phone from sprint again. When my upgrade was up i really wanted the HTC One, so i looked around and ended up getting up getting it from costco for $150. When i went into sprint to talk about that framily thing i noticed that all the phones had a pay a small about now then pay the rest over 24 months. I asked if i could just do the one payment and the 2 year contract like before and they said no. The Moto x was $20 now and $20 for the next 24 months.. So not only does that make my bill $20 more a month thats also $500! What a bad deal..

I mean on EVDO not 1xRTT.. Also no, I have the HTC one and live to close to the border so no 800 for this cowboy.

Will network vision come with data roaming? I love driving north of Tucson and getting Verizon 1X until i get back into town.

Well just updated to 3.05.651.6 and i was one of the ones who could not update the profile or PRL. After the install i was able to update both I will post if i find anything else that changed.

So all this talk about 800 sounds great but what about areas in the IBEZ? Are they planning to get it to every site or are they just going to skip all the towns close to the borders. Did the softbank buyout affect this or did it just stay the same?

Man, the wait is killing me! I wish they would get fiber to the cortaro I-10 tower or really anyhting north of ina rd at this point. Im picking up Lte more and more driving out of my way but it would be nice to get something up here They have had crews digging around the one by my apartment under the road from where a century link hub is and i also saw a truck by the one on la cholla and ina but still nothing yet.

I kind of wish they keep the same screen size, i really don’t want a bigger phone! The things i would love to see with the next ONE is.. -Ditch the stupid camera, just put a 10+MP cam in it. -TRI-BAND! -Better radio -SD card slot would be nice -Add a menu button at the bottom, no more long holds! -The battery is really nice but a bigger one would be even better! -A mini HDMI port -Maybe make it a little bit thinner -FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP THE SPEAKERS WHERE THEY ARE!

Mine has not. Ever since 3.05.651.5 it fails when trying to update the profile and PRL. Do they even test this stuff?

Where is that small track on La Cholla coming from? I was driving on River and i got it for 5 or so seconds and couldn't reconnect. Also all that LTE on I-10 to Orange Grove does not work, or at least i couldn't connect to it..

Ah, like i said before there is very limited LTE in Tucson and none where i live so i don't have much experience with it unfortunately.. Thanks

Ah, ok. Over all the HTC has been the best phone i have ever had and there are only a handful of towers broadcasting LTE here so i will just wait it out. Side question, IDK if you would know but is there any way they can update the phone so its try-band capable? I know the One Max has it and they are going to update the S4 for that but is that even possible with the regular One? Spark sounds great and i really like the One, so i would like to enjoy both!

Cool, its not available for me yet. Wonder if they will ever fix the radio, i can never pick up LTE very well until im close to the tower.

Im not talking about backhaul, im talking about century link. They were still building out their own fiber network and i thought that was why it was taking so long to get the sites hooked up. But now that we have 8 or so they have to be feeding somewhere right? So what my thought process is that now that they have some towers broadcasting 4g and that have a decent speed that they should have some sort of network built out in tucson. Not just a little here and there... Guess i just thought this process was going to be just a bit faster, maybe a tower or 2 a week..

That is why we have lte on a few right? Something has to be there. im in the big dead zone from between oracle and I-10 so im eagerly waiting for something up here!

Stopped by again and I finally connected after resetting my damn phone.. did a speed test and mapped down orange grove.

Weird, i parked next to the tower and got noting sooo guess i will try again some time.

Nice! Hope they get one of the cell sites up here up and running, looking at you ina and cortaro! It would be nice to have it kinda close to where i live and work..
