Ah, see i though it would be better because she is so close to the downtown area. She has to make a 40 minute drive to get down there and she cant even get the damn wimax. I don't really care all that much because we are past the town limits, guess i shouldn't assume that just because its in a more central location that it would be better O_o

Sweet! The 3g is not too bad where i live in the north west part of town. Pandora is usually ok but as of late i have seen a drop in consistency of the speed. There is one tower that said it had a data upgrade and the other 2 just say voice upgrades.. My GF that works downtown by williams and broadway gets crap signal to the point where she has to step outside the building to use the phone, now that is unacceptable..

God i hope they start Tucson, AZ soon.. I like the unlimited everything but the 3G has been so spotty that i want to pull my hair out! Do you think there will be any hope before June?

Ah, i have no clue. Just saw 3 or 4 trucks at the site for a few weeks then they were gone..

I saw a bunch of trucks and people working on a tower off of I-10 and Cortaro in Tucson, AZ. I have no idea if the tower was owned by sprint and the trucks were unmarked. They were there for a week or so but i don't have a phone that can pick up an LTE signal if there even is one.

Im still confused about what they are doing with the new LTE sites. Are they modifying, taking down, or making completely new towers?

Do i need a LTE 4G device to see or use eHRPD? I have a Samsung Epic 4G on WiMax that i cant get and i cant even find any thing that says mobile network type. It just says Sprint. EDIT - just did a test in my area, got 211 kbps down and 434 kbps up with a ping at 156 ms. Says the network is EvdoA

Yeah ok, sorry im so bitter.. I switched from Verizon to sprint because of the price and i was told that we were going to get LTE in my area last year.. Also, i am stuck with sprint until June of 2013 or i have to pay dumb ass ETFs.. I just feel that all i get from cell phone companies is lies.

So do the bare minimum... I like how all of Arizona is almost not meeting the standard. If you cant back it up then don't take the spectrum from carriers that can use it right! I hate clear and hope they die.. i cant even use it were i live because its only down town, im not in the middle of no ware and we don't even get crappy wimax! There is so much traffic ware i live it takes forever to get where i need to go, yet we don't get wimax or 4g?? I keep asking myself why did i pick sprint.. WHEN VERIZON AND AT&T HAVE 4G!

Indeed! Im always on the wifi at home, its much faster then my crap 3g so its a easy choice.. But if i get 4g out here then i will still connect to my wi-fi at home..

I dont get bad speed with 3G here in Tucson just did a test and i got 0.96Mbps but it is really late.. i get around 0.09 to 0.30 during the day. If i do leave it wont be soon because the ETA is really high. I just Hope it come soon because i really dont want to jump ship again(soooo lazy lol)

I hope so.. I left verizon becasue they droped their unlimited plan! I think it will give sprint the lead in the long run.

Is there any info on Arizona at all? I dont even see the point of asking sprint any more because they always say the same damn thing. When i signed the contract.. "Oh, i really want this evo 4G! It looks really cool!" "Alright lets get all the paperwork up and get you on your way." "Sounds good, also when will there be 4G in Tucson?" "Its coming very soon." 6 months later.. "Hey i was told that we were getting 4G soon when i signed up, what gives?" "Oh, we are working on getting it working and will be up very soon." Sorry, just bummed. Looks good so far! I cant wait for 4G to come to Tucson AZ! I have to drive 15 miles into town to get some choppy 4G that barely works.. Good job Robert!!
