  1. Richmond, IN part of the Cincinnati cluster but some sites seem to be run into the Indianapolis switch.
  2. What is the process for bringing NV complete sites online once the hardware upgrades are complete? The equipment is all installed at the sites near my house but they have not been listed as complete in the maps and I cannot get any indication of the tower being NV complete and online through my phone. When do they typically turn the new sites on? Do they take the towers offline and reboot them for the final setup? Any info would be appreciated.
  3. Its not endemic... It's a real albeit tricky issue. My old evo (original) worked great... Bought a nexus 5 and suddenly problems. But the nexus 5 works great and has been replaced three times but still has the problem. My airave has been replaced once. It will stay connected to 3g on the airav but constantly kick off the airve on 1x. As I said, countless hours spent on trying to fix it and the best I've gotten is to unplug the thing. Not everyone everywhere has the problem, so consider yourself lucky that you are problem free! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. I've had the same problem you describe. Only solution I've found is to unplug it. Many hours on the phone with sprint and even new devices did not fix it. New airave, new phones, prls including sponsor ones, profile update, etc. No solution I can find... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  5. Search for an app named "Smart Rotator". I think that might be what you are looking for.
  6. I have had no problem with MMS via chompsms or 8sms while in Charlotte nc. Perhaps try making sure MMS over WiFi is turned on? Should work if you are a sprint customer. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. If you do what I suggested I promise a notification will stay appear in the status bar. I had all sorts of issues with the call log sprint VM indicator repeatedly notifying of deleted VMs and stuff. If you use Google voice then use it. Otherwise things get messy. So I would strongly urge trying my suggestion having someone call and leave a VM and then decide if it is an acceptable solution. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Setting is titled voicemail display. Uncheck the box. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. There's a setting in the Google voice app to show VM notifications in call log... Turn it off. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks to both of you! Works great! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. Any luck on that APK? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. I've read through almost everything on this site. Must have misunderstood that part! Indeed pleasantly surprised! Thanks for clarifying! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. OK I think I understand. Any idea when the 800 spectrum will start hosting LTE and or 3g? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. I've gotten eHRPD while on the 800smr... I assume that is different from 3g? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah that's basically what I did. The network will ultimately decide what band your phone connects to so as myself and other users have found the band priority settings don't seem to make much difference. I think nationally for the time being users will overwhelming end up on band 25 which is the 1900 MHz LTE. The band 41 is the 2.5ghz spectrum that seems to be only running in spark areas and the 800smr is sporadically available across areas... In Indiana for example 800smr runs CDMA and 3g but not LTE right now as far as I have experienced. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. Over time as the LTE coverage becomes more uniform and the network overall is fully integrated.. Basically when network vision is realized I imagine the issue will mostly go away as the network will be actively managing your phones connections to optimize customer experience as I understand it. 17. Part of it is the phone has a refresh time for when it searches for LTE so if you lose it then get to another area with LTE right away it may not refresh to data connection and connect the LTE. There is an app that can periodically toggle airplane mode to fix this... Or you can do it yourself as needed. You can download nexus 5 field test from the play store to get easy access to the menu that let's you set enabled LTE bands and priorities. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. I take it nobody has the latest APK that I could use on my nexus 5? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. Also if you activate a sprint phone online they give you the msl on the confirmation page so in the future remember to write it down if you go that route Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. It tricked me at first too... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. There's only one speaker... Other one is the mic Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Also Richmond has significant fiber presence from both paralax (a local telco owned by Richmond power and light), and the ilight network runs to Richmond. I know Vz has LTE here so the backhaul should be available at least in the more urban sections of town. I've even heard that Richmond is being considered for being a home for some new customer service call centers for some companies so I definitely believe the fiber is here... Probably has something to do with the economics of the subscriber base here in Richmond versus in other nearby communities. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. I am also in Richmond, IN and the only information I have found on this site is that several towers are "in progress" for network vision... Can't wait for 800smr so I can finally get a signal in my room. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  24. Where did you get it? I haven't had much experience with pushing prls.
  25. I haven't tried pushing new PRL 61098. I can try that tonight. Have you had any luck with that?
