  1. But looking at your screenshot it looks like WiFi is scanning a lot but not connected and the cell signal is generally pretty bad. What does your phone say is using the most battery? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. If you have the Nexus field test app you can check the battery scale. I think it gives an idea of calibration and battery health. Under android testing settings. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Fully drain then charge up completely and leave on charger. Google it for better directions. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. Also, your network signal is really spotty... That drains battery. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. Battery calibration issue? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. For the sake of quelling the masses with the pitchforks... Care to elaborate? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  7. Ok. Thanks for the info. As for the balance between optimizing speed with fringe LTE vs 3g any idea about .17? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. The .23 did not hold onto LTE on transition like .15 did. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. Technical question... Call me lazy for not digging through hundreds of pages of this thread. I am running .15 and that seems to hold the LTE signal best but in situations where 3g would offer better speed than fringe LTE it hangs onto the LTE connection. What's the experience difference between .17 and .23 with the workarounds? I've had problems in FT Wayne, IN a basically fully 3g upgraded and almost all LTE upgraded market with holding the LTE in transition from tower to tower. This doesn't happen on .15. Will .17 give me the holding onto LTE on transition of .15 with the desire to grab LTE in the first place of .15? Feel free to ask for more clarification if I haven't explained myself well. 10. As I said, file a class action lawsuit if it's that big of a deal. Don't get me wrong, I am just as upset by the delay but if you want to try to influence expedience of the update complain to sprint. They are the only ones who would have any hope of speeding up the process. And even that's doubtful. It's Google... They will do things on their terms. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. Let's all just take a breather here. Honestly, we have been dealing with no spark for a long time and they pushed updates to fix the camera independently of a full system update. It will come soon. If it never comes then file a class action lawsuit if you are that upset about it. My guess is sprint will be forced to let people out of contracts and take returns on N5s if spark never comes. I am just as annoyed by the delays but all this complaining here won't do anything. Email dan@sprint if you want to complain about the delays. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. I emailed too and they called me. We spoke at length and I made sure to press the issue and they said they were going to forward my feedback.. I wasn't encouraged either. It seems they would want to share any info they had to keep their customers happy. Someone somewhere in sprint knows something but its all being kept very quiet. Not encouraging. 13. Then time will tell. The little information available about 4.4.3 has not given me much hope for spark being included with it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. Why not email dan@sprint anyways expressing our shared concerns over the lack of a spark update? I'm starting to wonder if they may have thought the hardware could handle spark technology but upon further development they have run into some big challenges in getting the radios working fully with spark. The G2 does not have the same number of bands as the nexus 5, if I am right. So maybe they are genuinely struggling to make the hardware specific to the nexus 5 do spark? 15. In regards to the tendency for the N5 to drop onto 3g while driving I noticed the same problem in the Fort Wayne, IN area despite upgrades basically being complete. I noticed the issue with the .17 and .23 radios but when I flashed the .15 radio it held onto LTE better and would connect to it more often and quicker. I did not notice symptoms endemic of an eCSFB issue in the area when I used the .15 radio.
  16. I love Dropbox because syncs great! https://t.co/2xZ0MHrs9a

  17. Upgraded to premier and found it. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  18. Is there any word on band 26 and 41 LTE deployment in Fort Wayne?
  19. anyone out there have any solution to this airave issue? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. Does your nexus 5 work fine with your airave? Mine randomly drops off the airave then picks it back up a few seconds later. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. Indeed, fingers crossed. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  22. Great! Thanks for the info. Any word on the timeline for the rest of the towers? Who is your source? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. When will those 3g towers go online? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  24. Any updates on the Richmond, Indiana launch? Nothing new posted in the latest sponsor maps... Still says just in progress... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  25. What might hold a tower "in progress" and not 3g accepted for an extended period on the order of months?
