  1. I'm with both of you. I'm torn between this and the new iPhone (and the new Nexus IF it isn't 5.9" as rumored). I don't know if I can give up the customization of Android though after having a Nexus 5. Probably will wait and see what the real life RF performances are of the devices... and if USCC gets bought out by Sprint or becomes a RRPP member since their 10x10 B12 channel would be a great fallback in the rural areas around here!
  2. https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=2373669
  3. Glancing through the FCC docs... Looks like it might be a pretty good B25 performer, average B26, and good for B41.
  4. Interesting... Still no Band 12. Poor USCC. They still can't use their iPhones on their main band around here. Edit: But what is even better... All those T-Mobile customers expecting better coverage when B12 deploys... Sure hope they don't buy the iPhone 6!
  5. My feed keeps cutting in and out... but absolutely no sound.
  6. Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.apple.com/live/" on this server. ....Awesome EDIT: its back for me.
  7. Mine did too. I had to refresh the page.
  8. Anyone else annoyed at the fact there are two music feeds being broadcasted at the same time? I muted it of course, but it would've been nice to leave it up in the background until I hear some voices.
  9. I certainly hope that isn't true... No way would I drop $799 for a 4.7" 16 GB model.
  10. I am hoping as well. If/when the roaming agreement/buyout gets announced with USCC, it will make the new Moto X all that much more intriguing to me since it includes B12!
  11. I know around here B12 is USCC's main LTE band, but they refarmed their 850 spectrum to also add on B5 for the iPhone. In my particular county, USCC has a 10x10 chunk in B12 (700a and b - USCC is probably the sole reason why there isn't any native AT&T coverage since they grabbed 700b and the cellular A license), but only a 5x5 chunk for LTE in B5. Either way, good news!
  12. Wait... So this includes USCC's main band, B12? Very nice if the rumored USCC LTE roaming deal comes along pretty soon! Also Motorola typically (at least in my past experiences) puts out devices with above average RF performance. Hopefully this will be the same. Depending on what else comes out this month or next, I may need to give this device some serious consideration.
  13. Yeah, I posted mine on there and had max discount in two days. There really isn't any reason to pay for it.
  14. Just throwing out an idea... Could be completely off, but I don't know how they specifically measure these things. What about the fact that the edges are likely curved? The chassis diagonal will be slightly lower than the equation would say. It's not like the original Moto X was a complete rectangle...
  15. Droid Life believes this device is the new Moto X (the AT&T variant), which would make sense... A sliver of hope yet again. Quote from Droid Life below:
  16. I hope it isn't the new Nexus... I would certainly hope that Sprint would get the next one, but this tells otherwise since I don't see them making more than one US variant.
  17. They have officially sent out invitations for Sept 9th. http://www.cnbc.com/id/101937291
  18. ...And you can keep your unlimited Framily plan - as I am since I have the max discount. No one is forcing any of the new plans on you. Do whatever works best for your situation.
  19. Meh... Nothing too exciting. My full Family plan is better than I would get as an existing customer.
  20. Yeah... I am sure it will be "officially" announced on Tuesday at the event.
  21. I think Band 12 is a possibility since USCC has had the Note series w/ B12 for awhile now. Will be interesting though if the Sprint one adds it this year or not. I am sure they are capable, it will come down to whether or not they had enough time after the announcement from Sprint about the CCA.
  22. The plastic on that thing looks too glossy and slippery to me. I tend to use my devices without a case. I haven't dropped a phone of mine in many years (*knock on wood*). This device looks like the backplate will resemble the G2's in how slick it is. But... The M8 in a plastic shell with the same internals? Could be a RF beast seeing how the M8 holds its own...
